How do the Girls Break the Impasse?
A Match
Tara sighed. The impish grin on Marlene’s face told her that her best friend wasn’t going to make the first move here. She really was like a mule.
“Marlene, please, we got in trouble last time.”
“Meh. It’s too late now anyway. We’ll get in trouble if we’re late either way. I don’t have time to go home, so we might as well make the most of it. Your parents aren’t home right?”
“No, they’re not, but that doesn’t change anything.”
Marlene swept around the counter. “Come on.” She tugged at her blazer. “All you have to do is go upstairs and get changed. Nobody will even know we weren’t there.”
Tara pulled away from her. “Yes, they will.”
“I’ll help you, if you want,” she grinned.
Tara ground her teeth in irritation now. She threw Marlene’s hand away and tugged at her turtleneck sweater. “Why don’t I help you, and then we might only be a few minutes late?”
Marlene giggled. “Is that a challenge?”
“What?”
“I’ll fight you for it. First person to get the other undressed wins. You win we go to school. I win... we don’t.”
Tara’s cheeks went pink. There was nobody there to see them, but she didn’t like the idea of fighting to settle the issue. Then again, if it was the only option available then why not?
“Okay, fine, what are the rules?”
Marlene’s smile couldn’t get any wider if it tried. “Oh I’m going to smoke you. Let’s keep it at just wrestling. No punching or anything.”
“Okay. And the winner?”
“First person to get the other down to their bra and panties.”
“You’re on.”
The Match is On
