She eats his meat stick.

Rummaging around in his bag, Paul finds a couple of beef sticks, a sleeve of saltine crackers, and a block of cheap cheddar cheese. "Looks like we're having charcuterie tonight honey!. Oh boy I can't wait!". Paul grabs his stainless steel dinner plate from the corner of his tent, too bad he hasn't been able to wash it in about a week. Taking his trusty knife out of his pocket he tears open the beef sticks and begins cutting them into little chunks. Paul then cuts his cheese into chunks as well. Once the cheese is done, he takes out the crackers and spreads them out over the plate.

Lauren's stomach rumbles. She figures whatever this man brings out is going to be disgusting, but she hasn't ate anything all day. When Paul returns with half a pint of vodka and a smudged up plate full of saltine crackers and gas station beef sticks, her appetite drops. Normally, Lauren would be in a fancy restaurant. Normally she would be eating lobster, or sushi, or hell even just a salad.

Paul just starts digging in. After he has eaten a few cheese and beef cracker sandwiches, he asks "Are you not hungry tonight babe? You haven't touched the charcuterie." he knows she's probably too stuck up to eat his food, he just wants to hear her say it. "I'm not eating that disgusting trash!" Lauren exclaims. "Fine, more for me." Paul eats another sandwich, then takes a swig of his vodka before holding it out to her. "You want a drink though? You've got to be getting thirsty with all that crying and sobbing you've been doing"

Lauren accepts the bottle and tips it back, at least she can get drunk to try and make it through the night. Immediately she regrets doing that. Lauren has only ever drank fruity mixed drinks and she was not prepared for bottom of the barrel 100 proof vodka. Her throat is on fire.

Eventually she works up the courage to take another swig, then a third before Paul grabs it out of her hands and says "Hey don't hog all of it save some for me." A few minutes later, Lauren is still starving (or at least she thinks it's that severe) so she grabs one of the cracker sandwiches and forces herself to eat it. She eats a few more along with Paul and soon they run out.
