Angelo smiled slightly. "You haven't ruined anything. On the contrary, this has become yet another intense memory that we both share, no?" As he spoke, he reached out a hand to Lavina's as she turned from him. Although there was a look of worry and pain upon her face, it quickly melted into glee upon hearing his words. Her score shot up to 125. He smiled slightly. "Speaking of intense. You make that dress look amazing, Lavina." She looked down slightly before glancing in his direction. Her cheeks had turned bright red as her score ticked up to 135. "Oh?" He gently squeezed her hand. "It makes me feel lucky. So, would you do me the honor of joining me for dinner?"

Lavina smiled while nodding slightly. Her score ticked up to 145. "I'd like that." While Lena watched this, she felt a strange pain emanating from her core. This was rather unexpected. Most of her experiences had been pleasant, but this. This was so sudden and upsetting. She had the desire to push Lavina away from Angelo, but was certain this action would upset him. She'd even been given warning of Lavina's arrival. As this thought crossed her mind she realized that she had no right to be upset. So instead of visibly getting upset, Lena bowed her head slightly while hiding the pained expression upon her face. "If you have need of me, I will be doing some research, Angelo."

However, before Angelo could reply, Lena quickly walked away to Angelo's bedroom, closing the door with an odd, but soft slam. Angelo lifted a brow. "Hmm." After which, he turned his attention back to Lavina. "Please, come in." Lavina playfully smiled. "With pleasure." After he guided her over to the table, he pulled out a chair for her. "Please, have a seat." She smiled before sitting down. "Mm, such a gentleman." Once they were both seated, they began to enjoy their dinner together.

After ten minutes of idle chitchat, Angelo decided to start asking questions. "You know. I've been thinking about those two men who were holding you hostage. Did they mention why they were doing it?" Lavina took another bite of her food before sighing softly. "They didn't say much, but one of them said it was your fault, Angelo. He kept saying, 'If he had just done his job.' over and over." He lifted a brow. "My job? What does that even mean?" She shrugged slightly. "I don't have enough information, but I do know that they work for The Chosen Faithful."

Lavina finished the last of her meal before continuing to speak. "It's one of the oldest guilds within the Abyss. It is rumored that they know the truth behind Gaia's will. Why she desires to keep magic and the gods from those outside of the Abyss." Angelo lifted a brow and thought. 'That name sounds familiar...' However, since he couldn't remember from where, he said the first thing that came to mind instead. "That doesn't sound ominous at all." She chuckled. "Yeah well, I can't say they aren't devoted." He let out a soft sigh. "I wonder if they will keep coming after me then.." At that moment, a new quest appeared in the center of his view.

- Complete the quest, Silver Rock's Tumble

Angelo's eyes widened after reading that information and thought. 'Bhaal's servant? Change fate? Does this mean they weren't talking nonsense?' He looked down slightly while mentally hitting, 'Accept.'. When he did, he felt something soft touch his left shoulder. It was at that moment, that he realized his ears had stopped listening to the world around him. He took in a slow breath, trying to relax before looking in Lavina's direction. Although unsurprising, she had a look of worry written upon her face. "What's wrong?"

Angelo looked slightly to the side and realized that Lavina's hand was touching his left shoulder. He smiled weakly while lifting a hand to gently caress it. "Sorry about that. I think the events of today have finally caught up with me." She looked down slightly before nodding. "I understand." She leaned in and gently kissed his cheek. "If it's any consolation, despite the dramatic start, this has been one of the best dates I've been on." At that moment, his quest turned itself in.

Angelo had a couple issues on his mind. The tone in Lena's voice and her reaction to Lavina had him a little worried. On the other hand, it would be a shame to let Lavina's night end on a bitter sweet note, right? This was certainly a difficult choice. Sadly, choosing one would exclude the other. Should he ask Lavina to stay the night? Or should he call it a night in favor of checking in on Lena?
