Stay silent

You don't know what skills you have that would be considered useful. You decide it would be best not to say anything in case whatever skill you suggest would get laughed at but Mike, John, Harry and everyone else gathered by the SUV is looking at you expectantly. You look down to the ground sheepishly.

"See she really doesn't seem to have any other use." Mike says looking at you gloatingly while Harry has a chuckle.

"She just got here she doesn't know how anything works here yet. I'm sure there are plenty of things she can do around here." John defends you once again. "Just let her get her bearings."

"Of course" Mike says cheerfully to John before stepping dead close to you and whispering in your ear. "I haven't had some nice tight Gook pussy since I was in Nam. You already know your going to be giving up your ass don't you? Already gave it up to our boy Harry. When the time comes I'm going to fuck you into oblivion."

Your stomach turns as the fat bastard decides to walk off with Harry towards the storage warehouse. You can still smell his cigarette and booze tainted breathe and stinky sweaty body odor. Still shaking you look toward John who you sense can tell something unpleasant was said but doesn't take any action against it. "Come on I'll show you around the camp a bit." He says.

You are shown around the camp which doesn't have much in the way of comforts. Still there are showers, washing machines and sleeping quarters. You are shown to your own sparse room. Four walls, a roof and a mattress are all you find there but it's going to be nice to have your own space and privacy. There are no clothes for you so your hospital gown which has been exposing your butt to every man & woman you have been getting introduced to is still all you have. John says he'll find some clothes for you on the next supply run but no time frame for when that will be is given.

John is clearly hesitant to tell you about one building as you pass it choosing to ignore it unlike every other building which he points out as you walk around. After you ask him about it though he relents in telling you it is the brothel but doesn't give you any further details than that. Eventually you arrive at the centre of the camp and John points out a trailer parked there. "This is where the camp leader Jerry has his office. I have to go check how things have gone with the supplies but you should go in there and introduce yourself. Jerry will be able to help find you some work." John says.

You thank him for the tour and wave him off as he trudges off toward the warehouse. Turning to face the trailer you walk to the door and knock.

"Yeah come in." You hear shouted from inside.

"H-Hello my name is Ayami. John told me I should come and see you about finding work as I'm new here." You say a little quieter than you wish.

"Well come on in and close the door." A man in his thirties sat behind a desk full of papers says. You can see the man is in shape even from his seated position which he doesn't leave to greet you. He has short black hair & is clean shaven. He wears a white shirt and black trousers. Everyone you have seen in the camp until now has dressed pretty casual. "Have a seat." Jerry gestures towards a chair in front of his desk.

Closing the door and moving towards the chair carefully so as to not show him your bare ass you take the seat in front of him as suggested. "So a newbie from John hmm. Got picked up on their supply run right?" Jerry asks you to which you nod in reply. "Well he's right in saying you'll need to find some work. Right now you're a newbie so we haven't accepted you in as a full citizen of our camp. See we have a weekly meeting with everyone and if the majority of people vote in favour of making someone a citizen they become a citizen. Also at that same weekly meeting a vote is held on all the non citizens who are staying in our camp. Whoever accumulates the least votes cannot stay in our camp anymore."

Your eyes go wide in shock at your first time hearing about this system. Jerry can see you are startled and explains further. "I'm sure it can seem quite cruel but there are only so many supplies to go around and it keeps people motivated to work hard improving the camp. The world outside these walls is a lot crueler than this I can assure you." You sit silently unsure of what to say after learning about all this. "Now as for work for you I can see the best way for you to improve life in the camp would be for you to work as a whore in our brothel. What do you say?
