Call Lupe and ask for a date

"Let me make a quick phone call before I decide," you tell Jeremy.

You dial Lupe, the pudgy clerk from the library.

She picks up after a minute. "Hola."

"Hello. This is Mike. We met at the library. We talked about grabbing a coffee so I could pick your brain about working there."

"Oh, right. Manuel, get off me, now. Sorry, my brother is bugging me. You know what, why not? If you don't mind taking me to Jack in the Box."

"Yeah, okay."

"It's just... well, you don't have to if you don't want to but there's this girl who's been bugging me about being fat and ugly and it would completely ruin her day if she saw me on a date."

"Sounds like a girl who deserves having her day ruined. Where do you live?"

You let Jeremy know that you'll stream with him another time and head out. This is your first real date in forever... maybe your first actual date in your life if you don't count those awkward events with Amber.
