Alexa’s room gets a makeover

Isabel walked down the stairs as she grinned. “Hey, Ryan,” Isabel smiled. “I’m glad you could make it. We’re looking to give Alexa’s room a complete overhaul.”

“I heard that,” a handsome man said as he stood in the doorway. “But why all this baby stuff?”

“Oh there’s going to be a new baby staying in there and Alexa volunteered to give up her room,” Isabel said. “Isn’t that great?”

“Yeah, that’s really cool,” Ryan said. “But isn’t this stuff a bit big for a baby?”

“Nah, it’s the perfect size,” Isabel said. “Now let’s get moving. Oh and Alexa is bathing so don’t go in the bathroom... or do, I don’t care. But I think she’ll be embarrassed if someone sees her naked. Especially a guy.”

“Oh,” Ryan said. “Well don’t worry, I’ll just focus on the bedroom.”

“I’m going to go check on Alexa actually,” Isabel said. “You just do your thing.”

Ryan nodded as he went to work with the oversized nursery that was ordered, including a large crib. Isabel smiled as she laughed internally. She went back to the bathroom where Lexi was playing with the rubber duck. “Who was that?” Alexa asked.

“None of your business,” Isabel said. “Now let’s get you cleaned.”
