Minato had a smile on his face as he watched the young man he had been training for years. Naruto was throwing kunai at Minato's shadow clones each holding a target in their hands. Naruto had managed to hit the center of nine targets and just missed the center on the tenth one.

"good work son," said Minato.

"thanks dad," Said Naruto. "this is a lot more fun then the boring training we do at the academy."

"true it looks like standards have lowered since my ****," said Minato. he had seen through Naruto what was happening at the academy and he was not impressed. his opinion was only made worse by the growing group of fangirls for Sasuke Uchiha. "at least the fan girls are not after you," he said with a small laugh.

"that's because they are all focused on Sasuke," said Naruto.

"true but trust me it is a good thing you do not have to deal with them yet. they will only grow interested with you after you show them your true ability," he said.

"yeah but you told me to pretend to be dead last till after graduating," said Naruto.

"yes i did that to throw your enemies off guard. it is also excellent stealth training learning to be a lot worse than you are. that way you could pretend to be a civilian in undercover jobs," Minato explained

"I know you have told me before," said Naruto. "I just cant wait to graduate tomorrow."

"how about we go over some fuinjutsu before we call it an early night," said Minato.

"okay," said Naruto with a smile.
