"Well now you've got me curious," Sakura smiled. "I'd like that kind of adventure."
Shiro nodded and smiled back. "And here I thought a peasant girl would consider anywhere to be an adventure to her." They rode off to the east at a comfortable pace, no schedule or particular location their aim.

"I have never been to these lands," Shiro said after a bit. "But has your village heard nothing of this region?"
Sakura nodded. "A little. Strange travelers sometimes pass through. They say magic is more abundant in this land, and so strange creatures and witches and enchanted lands and weapons exist here."
Shiro smiled and nodded. She had heard similar things in her travels, and particular tales from others (usually warriors or adventurers of some sort). It was said to be more exotic than dangerous, but not lacking in the latter either. "Yes. It should be quite a fascinating journey."
