Dash for it!

With panic gripping her even stronger, the young teenager did the only thing she could think of in such a dangerous situation - She threw herself to the side and away from the venomous-looking insect, barely getting her legs up underneath her before she was dashing towards the dense jungle.

The roar from behind her made her run ever faster, ignoring the pain in her side where the beast had first pumelled into her. She didn't even know if the scorpion-creature had managed to sting her or not, nor if the bigger beast was picking up the chase, but she certainly didn't stop to check as she just ran for her life.

She had no idea what other sorts of horrors could await in the thick and alien terrain, but once again she didn't hesitate for a moment as she dashed onwards into the jungle in hopes to find some sort of shelter from what she was running from. Within moments it was clear that the bigger creature was after her as she could hear it come crashing through the vegetation behind her, making her run even faster despite her troubles to navigate through the dense jungle.

Vines, thick leaves, branches and some sort of stiff grass swiped and tore at her as she rushed through, leaving small cuts and bruises all over her soft skin and light clothing. At one point her blouse got stuck in some especially thorny sort of vegetation, slowing her down for only a moment as she struggled with it, leaving the airy garment in tatters around her slender form as she managed to pull free.

Finding it more and more difficult to hold back the pain and exhaustion coursing through her sore young body, Rae desperately stumbled onwards. She could still hear the huge beast somewhere behind her, further away by now but not far enough at all to make her feel safe...
