The Relationship Proposal

Sitting on the sand, Winter laid her head on Mark’s shoulder. The two were watching the sun set in front of them. It was a beautiful moment, one that was just too big of an opportunity not to ask her out.

Winter looked as stunning as usual. Her long light brown hair was slightly curled, just the way he liked it. She wore a Hawaiian necklace, it sat above her heavy breasts, showing much cleavage in a white singlet top. A light blue skirt went with it, a short one that came well above her knees.

The sunset was a beautiful shade of orange, there wasn’t much talking between them, they sort of just sat there admiring the view and the company of each other.

It had to be now, he had to ask her.

“Winter...”

She moved her head from his shoulders, “Yes Mark?”

“I need to tell you something,” he said.

Her face scrunched up a tiny bit, she suddenly began to worry. “Oh no... is this bad news?”

“What? Bad news? Why do you think that?” He replied, wondering what he had said for her to make that connection.

Winter explained, “My family... Mom and Katie are sex freaks, Dad is a strict asshole... Have you been put off by them?”

It couldn’t be further from the truth, although he found it hard to speak with her father, he loved both her sister and mother. The fact that they loved sex couldn’t make things worse, it just made everything better. “Of course not, I’ve loved getting to know your family, some members even more than I expected,” he started explaining, “This trip has just reaffirmed what I’ve been thinking about for ages.”

Winter began to smile, starting to know what he was thinking.

“I know we’ve spoken about this before but I’m ready... I’m ready to take the next step Winter, I want to be able to introduce you as my girlfriend, I want to walk back into campus next year, holding your hand, having you by my side.”

Winter’s smile got bigger, she tried to hide her excitement but it was pouring out of her at this stage.

“Winter, if you’re ready to, I want to be your boyfriend for real...” he said.

She paused for a moment, trying to stop smiling so brightly, Winter couldn’t. Beginning to nod, she spoke, “I’m ready, I love you...”

“I love you too,” he said, feeling an enormous amount of happiness inside him.

They leaned in and began to kiss, a sweet sweet kiss. Her lips were soft and as their tongues met again, everything felt perfect. No matter what happened from here on in, Mark would always have this moment.

Mark and Winter were finally together and it couldn’t be more perfect.
