As soon as the pistol went off I bolted down the course. with out the cart weighing me down I was able to move a lot faster. I briefly looked back and saw the other two just were not able to keep up. huh maybe if I did not hold back so much in the first rate i could of won it as well. there was a large gap between me and the other two girls.

"good job girl," said the boss giving me a nice head pat. "tell you what if you can win the other one by a large margin as well then i will let you rest in your pen for the day."

I tried to resist leaning into the head pat. it is the first form of positive encouragement I had received in weeks and part of me was **** for more. briefly shaking my head i stepped away from him. i had to glare at the knowing smirk on his face. he then lead me back to the starting line with the other girls.

Taking a deep breath I aimed to run even faster this time to get that break. after this morning my legs were killing me and I really needed to take a break. I closed my eyes and started to lean foreword waiting for the signal to start. once I heard it I took of into a sprint while opening my eyes. this time I did not look back and just focused on crossing the finish line.

once I crossed the line i looked back and had a small grin around my gag. looking back the other two were still a quarter of the way behind me.

"Damn I think she just set a new record," said one of the men watching.

"With her we will show those bastards who the best is," said another man.

"true," said the boss. he then walked up to me and placed his hand on my head. "that was good running. you earned that break from training till tomorrow. in fact you did so good I may give you a bonus reward tonight." he gave me a few head pats before leading me back to the barn. once in my pen he released my arms from behind my back. as I was stretching my arms I heard the door close and lock behind me. I walked over to my pile of hay and collapsed in exhaustion. as I was about to fall asleep I could not help but wonder about that special reward he had promised.
