Retreat and Regroup

Malice watched from her hidden lair, as the heroes discovered that she had disappeared. A giant orb showed off their reactions before her as a holographic image. She had used the power of the Reality, Time and Space stones to create a fortress hidden in the depth of the sun for her protection.

'Safe from prying eyes, but able to see everyone else. I have the power to keep me and the real gauntlet safe while my copies can go out and cause trouble.' she thought as she made duplicates of herself with the Space Stone, being in more then one space at once.

However, her copies didn't have the true gauntlet as she did. With the stones represented by the six spikes on each of her wrist. The wrist connected to the hand waving as she pulled up images of the various women who thought they could challenge her perfection. Images of the men that thought themselves her better.

'The women... I can use the stones to copy their best qualities onto myself to enhance my goddess like looks. The men, I can cause them to be broken down. Bent to my will. Perhaps I should give them a sporting chance, or an illusion of one.

I'll send version of them, based on my whims, to fight them. If the original win, they survive. If the copies win, they replace them original.' as she thought on the people she wanted to test first, copies of them appeared as Sue created. Each one twisted in a way, depending on her warped whim at the time. What she didn't mention was the fact, she could just send other copies against them in the future, till the originals eventually lost.
