Rush to the paper

You quickly run towards the paper and stop right in the middle. She kneels down, and carefully lifts you up to eye level. "Oh my god, what happend to you, sweetie?"

You calmly explain that you were going to surprise her for her birthday, but that you didn't know about her special security system. Then you said that you just hid under the couch until she came home in the hope that she would find you.
