Ludita likes it

The next couple days were a struggle for Annita. It was one thing to get acquainted to wearing the hearing aids every day. But the glasses were on a whole different level. With everything so blurry, it made for a challenge to not bump into anything. Slowly, her vision began to clear.

"I like your glasses." Ludita greeted as Annita approached her. Right outside of church, this would be the first time that she would see her like this. While the glasses were still not her favorite, it was quite nice to get a compliment about them. Almost made it worth it.

Heading through, the pair took their seat near the front. Waiting patiently for the sermon to start, the church lady's hand met that of her girlfriend's. Gripping it tight, it felt absolutely wonderful. She could get used to this.

The sermon itself was alright. Nothing too amazing, the only real challenge being Annita focusing the preacher. But that just made her feel more like an elderly woman.
