The Beach (SPH/ENM route)

Midoriya needed a break, with all the training, life threatening situations, school work, and stress invading his life in such a short amount of time was overwhelming for the quirk inheritor.

Opting to take this weekend to himself, and go to the beach for some R&R, it was decently crowded, mostly couples and groups of friends.

"Huh, thats odd," Deku thought aloud, as he placed his All Might towel down on the sand, "Then again, its only eleven o'clock, more people will probably show up later on."

He continued to mumble, creeping a few of the beach-goers out, Izuku didnt notice though, too wrapped up in his own world as he placed his beach bag down next to the towel. It was filled with: a bottle of water, his phone, sun screen, a set of clothes to change into once he was done (choosing to change into his yellow swim trunks prior to coming), and a few snacks since he knew he'd probably be here a while.

(Oh how right he'd be)

After a few minutes of sun soaking, the hero in training decided to finally get in the water, feeling a few eyes were on him, admiring his build, some ladies giving him cat calls as they oogled over his abs, instantly transforming his face into the same color as a fire truck, the embarrassment making him pick up his pace as he entered the water, light waves crashing into him as he did.

"Just ignore them Just ignore them Just ignore them Just ignore them Just ignore them Just ignore them," he repeated to himself, trying to calm down his growing nerves, swimming further and further out from the shore to avoid the rubberneckers, his anxiety toward the situation blinding him from the fact that the waves only got more and more intense as he swam, not feeling that his shorts were getting blown down from his wasteline.

Finally nature got him to notice.

"Just ignore them Just ignore them, just-" Midoriya's mind surged as a massive wave was barreling toward him, "Oh crud!"

CRASH!

Within a milisecond Izuku was shot under water, deep below the surface as his body twisted and jolted from the sudden crash as he spun over and over unable to steady himself as he became dizzy, water threatened to fill his lungs as he touched the bottom of the ocean floor, thankfully not too deep since he wasnt far enough out yet, but it was enough to make him panic as he flalled his limbs around as he tried to regain balance; failing to notice an important detail.

"Crap crap crap," he screamed in his mind, trying to open his eyes but the salt from the water blinded him, a few seconds passing before he was able to touch the ground with his feet, using the opportunity to rocket himself upward, using One for All to reach the surface so he could breathe once again, feeling oddly lighter as he did so.

It took him a bit, but he was able to make it uninterrupted by another wave this time, gasping for air as if he never breathed it a day his life.

Unfortunately, it did cost him his shorts, the yellow trunks gentley sinking amd floating away, never to be seen again.
