They continued to drive and listened to Stevie Nicks. Jennifer felt like everything was going to be alright but still she needed certain things to be discussed so she could have peace of mind going forward.

Author’s note: this story has drifted far from my original outline. People following me will know I don’t usually do forking paths in my work but the Jennifer and Jamie romance got away from me. It’s now a larger part of the story than I had originally intended it to be. This chapter continues the story how I feel it should go given the way my feelings about the story have changed. It’s alternate chapter: Darkness pushes the chapter back towards my original outline while not removing the romance but making the curse more prominent. Light is where their romance continues to be the crux of the story whereas in Darkness the curse will be the crux of the story.
