Brie Larson gets taken down a peg - Part 18

-What the hell? -exclaims a male voice.

When Brie and Karen turn around, they see two figures approaching them. They are both men. One looks around fifty, and the other one is a young boy, around twenty. They both wear uniforms that identify them as gas station workers.

-What in the world is going on here? -says the older one.

-What the fuck… is that Brie Larson? -exclaims the younger one.

Brie immediately covers her breasts and vulva, and stands there petrified, like a rabbit caught in the headlights. Karen feels startled as well, but just for a couple of seconds, and quickly reacts.

-Good evening, gentlemen. I’m Karen Schneider, Brie’s agent. I’m very sorry for this…

-What is she doing naked in the middle of our car wash? -says the older man, looking angry.

-Sir, this is not what it seems. My client had an accident…

-What kind of accident?

-Well… it’s a bit embarrassing… but I guess it’s better to tell you the truth. We were in the car and she… had an unexpected vowel movement… I guess there’s no easy way to say this… the fact is… she pooped her pants. We saw this hose and came here to give her a rinse before getting back in the car.

The two gas station employees chuckle. Brie just wants the ground to open up and swallow her.

-Madam, I’m afraid I’m gonna have to call the police -says the older man, reaching for his cellphone.

-Oh my god, no please… -is the only thing Brie manages to mutter.

-Sir -intervenes Karen-, I understand that this is very irregular, but I beg you not to call. My client has just gotten out of the police station. Didn’t you see her on TV, earlier tonight?

-No. We've been working all night. What happened?

-Well… she was arrested for exhibitionism. Please, Sir, she can’t get arrested a second time tonight, and for the same felony. That would put her in a very difficult position…

-I’m sorry, but she should have thought of that before getting naked in a public place.

-Please, don’t do this. We were about to leave. Just let us go, please -Brie begs, feeling terrified about the perspective of being arrested again.

-Maybe we can get to an agreement and keep the police out of this -says Karen-. Would you accept a hundred dollars to forget about it?

-These Hollywood people think they can buy anything… -says the older man to his partner-. I’m afraid we can’t do that. You’re in our gas station. It is our duty to report this.

Karen is momentarily out of ideas, but then, suddenly, she has an epiphany. She walks a couple of steps towards the two men, her lips curling into a grin.
