Firing a teacher

The next day Toga was away at her role and Izuku’s weekly classes were progressing again and as such Izuku was returning from his work study. When he did so he came to Ren with a proposition.

“Do you want to come with me to class Ren?” He asked, with a bright hopeful smile.

“I’d come with you anywhere Izuku.” You respond without hesitation.

“Oh um, that’s sweet. But I thought it would be cool you could see how hero classes work, so that way you could see if you were interested in becoming a hero.” Izuku explained, he was so wonderful. More concerned with seeing whether you would enjoy being a hero than what he wanted, he didn’t understand that all you wanted was what he wanted.

“If you want me to that’s all that matters.” You reply, desperately trying to get him to understand.

“It’s your choice Ren, not mine.” He replied to your frustration.

“Well I’ll be there.” You assured him, and felt your heart crack as his smile widened into a beaming smile. Excitement in his voice, it drew you in like a fish to water. Following him to his hero class, she found two teachers waiting there.

“You’re late Midoriya.” Aizawa said unimpressed.

“Aw don’t be such a mood, you know that it’s better for these studs to get their urges out.” Nana replied, “and if you need any assistance just say the word.”

Izuku blushed, “actually I was hoping that Ren would be able to watch our performance today. I think she might like to be a hero.”

“You need to be more focused on your own hero work than romantic relationships Midoriya. The rest of your classmates are racing to rescue a hostage in the city. If you’re the last one there you’ll be expelled.” Aizawa explained.

“What?”

“A hero can’t let personal attachments get in the way of hero work. So prove to me it won’t stop you.”

Izuku’s face was one of blank shock and disbelief, for a moment he seemed paralysed with indecision. Before he noticed his teachers smile.

“Clock’s ticking Midoriya.” Sending Izuku into a panic, as he leapt into the course.

“You would dare to expel Izuku?” You demand, looking the teacher in the eye.

“I would.” Aizawa replied, “if we can’t trust him to show up then we can’t trust him to be a hero. Unlike with you I have no intention to pamper him, he has to work harder than any other student.”

“You’re being harsh on him?” You said with barely contained anger.

“The life of a hero is absolute hell, this training needs to emulate that.” He replied, your mouth went dry. Izuku’s life, dear Izuku’s life a living hell. Your eyes narrowed, there would be some changes around it.

“You would make my beloved Izuku’s life a living hell? Every second should be pure heaven.” You responded with pure disgust.

“A hero’s life isn’t heaven, little girl. So it’s important he doesn’t get used to it.” The hero replied, completely unconcerned for his happiness.

“It should be. It will be. And if you stand in the way of that. You will be removed.”

“Is that a threat?”

“Much more than that.” You snarl, “Ms Shimura, restrain him.”

“What?” Aizawa scowled, but it was already far too late, Nana had already restrained him. His eyes lit up, but could only nullify one quirk, and you had plenty, and soon you had his. “What the help are you doing?”

“You’ve never treated Izuku properly, you only threatened him with expulsion instead of properly teaching him. Forcing him to learn on his own, failing to cater to his every whim.” You snarled, “after you resign I’ll make sure your replacement knows that.”

A/N: So Mirko is going to be Izuku’s new home room teacher, but that’s not all that will be changing. Feel free to make any suggestions for changes to Izuku’s home room. I would really like some suggestions.
