“Could be something to do with the attack on New York,” Jubilee said. “I think everyone is on edge. Ellie is also a powerhouse, she can take out most villains easily.”

“But sometimes there is a lot of collateral damage, which is why Yukio is also useful to have around.” Rogue replied.

“Huh, I guess so.” Taylor said, he half remembered the Deadpool movie. Ellie had a really cool power, but he couldn’t remember the exact specifics of it. He always liked the first Deadpool movie over second. But then a picture flashed through his mind, of Ellie or her actress in a random photoshoot. She had looked incredibly sexy in it. “Really, why?” Rogue asked, a frown on her face.

“Professor Xavier, can I speak to you?” Taylor said.

“Ah...Taylor, you surprised me.” Charles said, turning his wheelchair around. “It’s not often that someone can surprise me. Even though I don’t look into peoples’ minds, I can at least tell when someone is nearby. But for you three I felt nothing.”

“My powers are pretty awesome,” Taylor said, smiling down at the professor.

“Indeed, you have grown strong. Jubilee and Rogue are also blank spots to me, impressive indeed.” Charles said. “But I suspect you didn’t seek me out to talk about your powers. What is on your mind?”

Taylor took a deep breath. He couldn’t fuck up now. Even if his powers worked against the professor, he was one of the most powerful mutants in history. If he made one mistake then it could come back to bite him in the arse later. He needed to be careful.

“I have enjoyed staying at your mansion, it has been an incredible experience meeting you all.” Taylor said, grasping Rogue’s hand and smiling down at the professor. He concentrated on his words, placing more power into them.

“Indeed, I am glad you and Ms D’ancanto have become fast friends.” Charles said, smiling. “Perhaps something more then friends, but something like that is not for me to know.”

“Hey, don’t forget about me.” Jubilee said. “Taylor and I are very good friends.”

“Indeed,” Charles laughed.

“Well, “ Taylor coughed into his hand. “The thing I wanted to ask you is if it was okay for me to leave?”

“You do not wish to stay here?” Charles asked, raising an eyebrow.

“I really like staying here, but I’m not forced to stay.” Taylor said. “I never really stayed in a boarding school before, or in America. Do you mind if I leave and explore America for a bit. I want to see the sights and experience things.”

“Hmm, I think I understand. You said you went to a public school. I can appreciate it would be vastly different from my private school for mutants.” Charles said, rubbing his chin. “Do you mean like a road trip, it would be fairly dangerous?”

“That’s why I was thinking of taking a few students with me, you don’t mind do you?” Taylor said. “Rogue and Jubilee for starters, but perhaps I can ask a few others. It would be sort of like a break.”

“Who else do you have in mind?” Charles asked.

“Not sure yet, but I will ask around.” Taylor said, happy that the professor was agreeing with him without the need of his powers. But his mind drifted to his words. He could literally take any of the X-men with him and be safe

“Thinking about it more. You may actually be safer away from the school then I first thought.” Charles said, rubbing his chin.

“What do you mean?” Rogue asked.

“Well, the Brotherhood for starters knows you are here. This would be the first place they strike in any attack against us, but if you were not here.” Charles said.

“Then I would be safe. But you would be vulnerable if I asked too many to come on this road trip.” Taylor replied.

“Indeed,” Charles.

“Okay, let me think about it. I can leave in the next few days once I have everything sorted out.” Taylor said, worry rising in his chest. He didn’t want to leave the school totally undefended. They wouldn’t be able to stop the next big attack or villain if all the big hitters were gone.

_Storm and Jean are out then, I can’t bring them with me when there are so many potentially end of the world scenarios that both of them stopped in the comics. _Taylor thought, glancing at Rogue and then Jubilee. He nodded down at the professor before walking back to the mansion.

“What’s on your mind, sugar?” Rogue asked.

“I was thinking about this all wrong.” Taylor said, walking through the halls and hearing the laughter in the distance. He could take the most powerful mutants. But there were other, less powerful but equally as hot women that he wanted. “I think we need to plan a bit, but first of all let me make a pit stop.”
