Grace-fully

"Well, maybe we should just keep it at Grace? That's a solid boundary that we can maintain." You say.

"Uh yeah okay... but what if she starts dating someone?"

"Well, if it comes to that we can find another person."

"I guess so."

"I mean, she might say no anyway."

"Maybe."

You pat Adela on the shoulder. "I'm sure we'll figure it out."

Smiling back at you, Adela says "I'm sure we will."

"Maybe we could invite Grace over some time and talk to her about it."

"Sounds like a plan. I'll check when she's free again."

Adela whips out her phone and starts texting with Grace. Whilst you wait for her answer, you wonder what exactly that answer may be. Having only known Grace for less than a day, it was hard to know how she'd respond, but it isn't hard to imagine the perks. From having a professional camerawoman to film your exploits with Adela, to having a girl to hang out with as Adela streams on Thursdays, you couldn't help but hope that she'd say yes. The only thing that breaks you from your day-dreaming is Adela saying "She said she can come over tonight."
