It's the thought that counts
Chapter 1
by cv81
You awake in a strange room. You’re giddy from the night before of sex, **** and more sex. That crazy girl at the club was just that: crazy. But your mind is racing at 100 miles an hour. You hear other voices and your vision is blurred. You seem to still be feeling the effects of the **** but maybe not.
You stand, trying to get a better perspective and you look forward, seeing a couple fight. Is it in the same room? Walking forward, the image gets closer; it must be in the same room. “Hello?” you say, with trepidation. Nothing. They stay the same, continuing to argue and you wish them to stop. The man is about to strike the woman across the face and then... he pauses. No sound is made.
You walk towards the man and your mind rushes. You blank out for a second and wake with new eyes; the man’s eyes. You are seeing what he is!
You go to move is hand and it moves. You think to step away and you do. The man’s voice is inside your head: “Fuckin’ bitch. Treat me like shit always. I’ll teach her.” You don’t like his attitude and think that he should stop now. I mean, the woman is something nice to look at. Her tits are ample and could be bigger, and with that thought, they get bigger.
What happened? Okay, go smaller. Her breasts get smaller. She should have blonde hair not red. Her hair magically changes blonde.
‘Okay,’ you think, ‘stop now and find out what is going on. The couple make up and forget about the fight.’
And with that, you snap back to the other room. You hear the man yell but stop.
“Why are we fighting? I don’t want to lose you,” he says. You continue to listen in and walk towards the only door in the room. The door leads to a hallway and you see light coming from the room next to you. Slowly, you walk towards it and look in to see the man and the woman from your vision. And the woman’s hair is blonde!
You rush back to the room and notice a note on the bed.
‘Hi, I had a great night and I hope you did too. But by now, you might realise you are different from before. Let’s just say I gave you a gift. You can alter people, their thoughts and situations. I would bestow this gift on the one who I saw worthy. Enjoy it as much as I do!’
