A phone call

Just as Gaylord is about to leave the phone rings. "Gaylord, answer that for me will you," as she shovels food into his former father's mouth. He walks to the phone hanging on the wall, and picking up the receiver.

"Hello," he asked hesitantly.

"Hi this is Victoria Stern there? This is Samantha Hawkins personal secretary," asked the male voice.

"Lady Victoria! It's Mommies personal secretary she's asking for you," he responded.

"Well take a message, and I get back to him," she stated as she continued to shove gruel into Dodo's mouth.

"I'm sorry she asked me to take a message," responded Gaylord.

"Is this young Master Gaylord," asked the secretary?

"Yes," he responded.

"Oh, good! First, I'll be setting up your typing classes on Monday at 6am. Here at the building, so don't be late," he informed.

"Ok," he responded quizzically.

"The other thing is your Mommy needs her suitcase packed for a business meeting in Japan. If you could get it ready, I'll come pick it up," she asked politely?

"Sure, I'll have it done as soon as possible," Gaylord responded..

"Good I'll be there in an hour to pick it up. Thank you! Your going to be a great personal assistant to your Mommy," he cooed.

"Thank you," he said puzzled. Then he heard the secretary hang up.

"What did he want," asked Lady Victoria?

"He wants me to get Mommies suitcase packed for a trip to Japan," he responded.

"Good boy, Do a good job, or you'll get a spanking," she informed as she roughly cleaned Dodo's face.

"Yes, Ma'am," he responded before heading upstairs.
