Dead Found; New 1

In the dark Shadows of Gotham only the stupidest gangster would commit a crime while the Symbol of Batman was visible in the Sky. So, it was this night too. Batman was on his Patrol but until now him hadn´t found anything that made it necessary for him to leave his shadows. It was a cold and dark night and somehow, he knew that something was coming. It was like a sixth sense that warned him about a terrible danger coming to Gotham. He activated the little display on his arm and checked the security systems in Arkham. The Joker was still unable to move and would stay in the medic bay for at least 3 more months. The Scarecrow was also under lockdown and so was Bane. All the systems were online and nothing on the streets gave him a hint that some of the major players would break out soon. But still his feeling did not fade. Then he heard about a **** on two cops in an alley and that someone had tried to rob the museum. The last information said that the female thief had been arrested and was on her way to the next station but the first one was still under investigation. Only 3 blocks away Bruce jumped into the darkness under him and spread his cape. Thanks to newest technology it transformed into a wingsuit-like paraglide and he flew over the city he had sworn to protect. As he landed inside the dark alley, he could see the two cops laying on the ground. Some officers had been busy to look for clues but as Bruce feared all they had done was to destroy the clues there were. A young officer, maybe new inside Gotham, looked at him in fear and reached for her gun. The grim warrior had appeared out of nowhere and didn’t even move now.

Her partner quickly stopped the young woman and said, “Fresh Meat Batman. Isn´t used to your friendly way jump in.”

Batman didn’t say anything and just moved toward the corpses. The first thing he noticed was that none of them had drawn their weapons. This could only mean that the enemy surprised them or that he was very fast. The second thing was that there was no blood around. As he moved one of the dead bodies the young officer tried to stop him but her Partner explained her that it would be a stupid Idea to tell Batman what he could do and what not. The woman starred at him like he was a demon.

“I…thought…he was just…a fairy tale…a…too…scare…I…mean…This is Batman?” stammered the policewoman.

From this moment she didn’t even found the courage to came closer to him. Batman had done a lot to create this Aura of Fear around him. It was much better to be feared than to be respected sometimes.

As he looked over the corpse, he found that each of them was killed by two little wounds at the neck. Both of them were close to the main arteries but there was no blood around. His first guess was that both of them had been killed on another place but as he looked around, he could see the footprints on the floor. They had walked into this alley with another person.

“A woman,” he thought as he took a closer Look on the footmarks but how could a woman kill two officers before they could put up a fight, and where was the blood.

It seemed supernatural for him. Maybe a new villain? He would check it in the Cave later, here he couldn’t do anything more. After he had informed the officer, he left the place as fast as he had entered them. In one second the young officer admired the sharp mind of the strange bat-like man and in a heartbeat, he vanished in a second where she had written down what he had said. Her partner just laughed and said that she would get used to that.

*********

Slipping into the darkness of the manhole, the 2 females made their way to the King of the Undead himself. Selina pulled her red lips into a fanged smile at the thought of how well her Dark Master would reward her for supplying him with fresh blood. Ahead of her was the young woman that once meant so much to her. Her veins filled with life giving blood that would soon nourish the only man she would ever serve.

“Ah,” spoke the figure in darkness, his night vision as sharp as any mortals at high noon.

“Hello, Master,” greeted the new bride.

Out of habit, Dracula offered is hand, palm up to the blonde in front of him she was interesting. If he had planned for this new resurrection, she would be joining Selina at his side for eternity. The scantily clad blonde approached the man in shadows and took his clawed hand. He guided her to him, while his skin had reconstituted his muscles and the rest had yet to be revitalized. This fresh blood would restore him fully to his previous form. The aged body he had was no doubt the result of the silver that was used to damage him before Blade had struck him down. He knew afterward he would have to purge his body of it soon. Vlad pulled this blonde to him, she was definitely attractive, bride worthy even if he had to be honest but now, he needed her blood, not her body. Vlad figured there had to be many more women like her.

“Tell the Master your name,” instructed Selina.

“Holly Robinson,” replied the mesmerized blonde.

Dracula smiled as he gently took a lock of her hair in his fingers, the way it fell just past her shoulders accentuated her appearance. He slipped 1 arm around her slender waist and then took a fist of her yellow curls in his hand. Gently pulled her head back as to bare her throat while lifting the 5 and quarter foot woman up to his red lips.

“Selina, release her,” commanded the King.

She did, though Holly was barely cognitive, “Hm…wha…?”

As he repeated with Selina and many others, his canines pierce her throat as to feed on the blood from her veins. To assist his full regeneration, he pulled through his fangs, half of Holly’s blood. The sounds of pleasure escaped the young woman’s lips after she gasped at the violation of her throat. Vlad smiled as he pulled out his fangs from the throat of the woman of 20 years; he remembered the incident involving strange individuals in odd, colored garments. The nosferatu felt his powers were waning, he then observed Holly, and concluded he needed a **** to serve him in the sun. He then gently lowered Holly to her feet while keeping her supported with his arm about her waist.

“How do you feel, Holly?” questioned the thick accented voice.

Holly did not know who was talking but it was soothing and for some reason was beyond her, she was compelled to obey.

“Strange,” she replied, obeying the voice.

The new **** turned to the voice and found a shadowed visage that terrified her; the young woman wanted to scream but was unable to when she heard, “Silence.”

“Have I done Well, my Love?” inquired his bride.

“Yes, very well, My Dear” he assured Selina.

Luckily his voice had returned after so many centuries, Vlad raised his hand to his face and touched his long facial hair. The beard had not been shaved since he left the ‘70s, and the next step will have to be finding shelter from the sun. He did not wish to leave a trail for any hunter of his people, so as to assure there was not any evidence of a kill, he had to have a way of disposal. He would find a way to before long, but exiting this filth took priority.

“Where to now, Master?” asked the first of his new brides.

Once they were on the street again, he decided to command.

“It is time to find us shelter, Selina,” answered the Vampyr King as he passed a window.

The street lamp was bright enough for Dracula to cast a reflection in a window, he saw it and growled. He knew he was weak but not this weak; finding who to eat was one thing but he knew he needed to find his coffin or at least a container of Wallachian/Transylvanian soil. Of course, finding the former would be impossible at this time but he had a new **** to aid him and his bride.

Dracula could feel the wind on his exposed body and knew clothes were in order. He looked up he didn’t know how much power he had left; right now, shapeshifting would only be squandering his energy.

“Selina, lead me to proper established housing,” he ordered.

Ex-Catwoman looked at her master, “I’ll try.”

“You will,” he commanded.

Selina nodded, “Do you wish for just an abandoned building or an actual furnished place?”

“There isn’t much difference at the moment, adhere to your own tastes, my dear” stated the risen nosferatu.

She smiled and took off scouting, it was long before she found the couple she had started to stalk before. The woman was a blonde with her hair done up, as she raised her hand revealing a diamond ring and wedding band. Selina was not the “World’s Greatest Detective” but she did not need to be to see that they could very well be man-and-wife. What she did notice was that the man was her Master’s build, or at least his clothes size and by coincidence she could fit into this woman’s dress. When she opened her fur coat told as much, she immediately marked the sign of the condominiums in her mind and turned to find her Master.
