Resupply

Alice used her torn black panties to wipe the runlets of cum off her thighs and abdomen and from her sex. She sat down on the damp cave floor and pulled her pants and boots back on. She kept the laser nearbye, but the brute didn't go near her. It had learned its lesson and kept its distance. It simply watched her in the flickering light of the cave.

She left it in the darkness of the cave and left from the hidden entrance. She was thankful to not have to scale the cliff again. The carcass of the insect-ape thing lay in front of her. She turned her head as she passed it. The first sun was setting fast. She knew that once night fell, the real predators would be out. That was the law in every jungle. She didn't want to do it, but she knew she had to go back to the ship and resupply now that she knew what she up against out here.

The jungle looked different in the twilight. She brushed a strand of hair from her face and listened to the sounds of creatures, large and small, moving in the brush. Some were waking up, some were hiding for the night. She knew that she only had a couple of hours before the jungle became pitch black, and then she would be virtually helpless. She picked up the pace.

Her legs were one giant knot a she jogged through the thick vines and growth. She felt her senses start to dull from fatigue. She didn't realize how much until she heard the screams. Her eyes shot open and she ducked behind a large, swaying fern. The screams were coming from the direction of the ship.

Alice carefully slid through the jungle from shadow to shadow. Three distinct voices, two male and one female, were shouting and firing weapons. "Bounty hunters." she thought. The ship must have had a tracking device. She carefully slid around a large tree, and smirked. The three of them were running back and forth, firing wildly into the jungle's canopy. Alice looked up. The treetops were shaking with activity. She caught the shadow of one of the insect-apes leap from one tree to another as laser fire ripped through the leaves.

They were running back toward the ship, screaming into the radios, when one of the apes leaped down and grabbed the female. She screamed and twisted in its grip, but it ripped her rifle from her hands and tossed her to the jungle floor. "Help!" she screamed, but the two men were already inside.

"Cassandra!" one of them yelled, but his partner pulled him inside "Forget it, she's dead!" he yelled, and slammed the door. Seconds later, the ship's rockets fired, illuminating the the jungle with a blue fire as it sped upward in the sky. She watched as two more of the ape things dropped to the jungle floor in the fading light of the ship's boosters. The woman was surrounded, her rifle and radio a mere 10 yards away. It might as well have been 10 miles.

Alice had three charges left in her pistol for three apes. If she missed, she was done for.
