A bit of a timeskip.

The rest of the day was eventful as Naruto had quickly left after dressing, and kept asking several other Konoha comrades of his to join on the mission, but everyone had other obligations that either required them to be in the village, or missions elsewhere. And to add to Naruto's frustrations, he, Shika and Choji got attacked by some stranger using ink based ninjutsu, and the bastard actually mocked Naruto's manhood.

After he had retreated, Naruto had been called by Tsunade, and found out that she had found two teammates, though one was apparently supplied by some old asshole by the name of Danzo, as Tsunade had had to compromise with the elders, and the other was one of the personal Anbu of hers he had used the Note on.

To his amusement, she was having three clones doing paperwork for her. He advised her not to make them do it all themselves of course, after all, clones are literal copies of yourself: if you won't do a task, neither will they basically. Still, she could much more easily get through it all in a timely manner with the method, and have a lot more personal time.

Then he went to go greet the temporary Team 7, to see Tenzo, codenamed Yamato for the time being, and unfortunately, the same jerk who had attacked him and called him a girl earlier, apparently called Sai, though he suspected that was a codename based on what Tsunade had told him earlier. Granted, he could change into a girl at will, so Sai had an unintentional truth to his insult, but that was beside the point!

To top it off, once they got going, Sai had insulted Sasuke. Granted, Sasuke had left the village in pursuit of vengeance, but Naruto honestly couldn't completely blame him. Because honestly, being seven years old, and witnessing one of the very people you trusted and looked up to most kill the rest of your whole family off, then using genjutsu to **** you with it would fuck just about anyone up in the head. Goodness knows Naruto didn't always make the most rational of decisions when emotional... Though this wouldn't stop him from knocking Sasuke's block off for his actions after dragging him back home, kicking and screaming if it came to that.

Anyway, Sakura had pummeled Sai for his words, and Tenz- er, Yamato had used Wood Style out of the blue to break them up. Now, they were relaxing in a hot spring on their way to the bridge, and Naruto was gazing at the divider to the woman's baths, scheming running through his mind.
