Bryce saves Mark

Stopping any chance of Matt getting physical was Bryce who shoved his way in between the two. He eyed off Matt, looking down at him, his head above his.

“You okay pal?” he said, talking down to him.

Matt’s face winced, he wasn’t going to argue with Bryce. He quickly left the bar area, disappearing from the scene.

“Got your back buddy,” Bryce then said turning to his right, giving Mark a nice pat on the back.

Having the quarterback of the football team on your side was an important ally to keep you safe.

“Uhh thanks, I appreciate that,” he responded.

It was true, it meant a lot to him that he would save him from another potential violent incident in public. He sure hasn’t forgotten about the time at the carnival.

“You really should think about joining the football team man, heard you’re a good runner,” Bryce then said, as if he was pressuring him into playing football.

The bartender returned Mark his drinks. “Yeah I don’t know man, I don’t really know much about the sport,” Mark said, taking his drinks.

“Well come attend a training next year, might be worth it,” he said before Mark left.

“Thanks, I’ll think about it,” he replied.

He didn’t know if it was worth it or not, the whole thing almost seemed like a practical joke to embarrass him.

Bryce Walker was no doubt one of the most popular guys in college, his success as the quarterback of the team doesn’t go unnoticed here. There’s certainly a reason that the girl with the best rack on campus had such an obsession over him.

It wasn’t something he would think about for a while again though. All he was thinking about now was finding Tiffany and seeing if there really was a chance that they could have their own moment together.

Giving Daniel a beer, he searched the crowd.

“You’re looking for Tiff aren’t you?” Daniel said, aware of what he was doing.

Mark nodded, “If everyone knows the news, she’s gonna have about a hundred different guys all chasing her tonight. If I’m any chance with her, I need to find her tonight,” he said openly.

“What are you waiting for then, go find the girl,” Daniel encouraged.

It would be tough to do considering the entire college was out and about tonight but it was worth it, she was worth it.
