You can't help but notice you boss, Jeff, had just bought a brand new corvette... "Fucking prick..." You can't help but smile as you get behind the wheel...{ifPast=1} This car is probably the nicest thing you've ever owned, and you can't help but be filled with a sense of pride every time you drive it....{endif}{ifPast=2} This car only serves as proof of your position, a symbol of a lifetime of success, and a future filled with such success as well... You appreciate the way people look at you everytime you pull into the company parking lot...{endif}{endif}

You back out of your parking space and head on the road, following the same route you take every day. You drive this way so often you could probably do it with your eyes closed at this point... You can't help your thoughts drifting off to what awaits you when you get to work...

You and Jeff are seemingly inches away from closing one of the largest deals in the firm's history, and you know what benefits await you if you manage to pull this off without a hitch.{ifPast=1} You never in your wildest dreams imagined this would be your life now, driving this mercedes to your job to rub noses with some of the most important people in the business world of your hometown...{endif}{ifPast=2} You feel nothing short of total confidence that things will go as planned, and you can't help but look forward to taking Mary out to celebrate when the deal finally closes...{endif}{endif}
