Exam preparation

It had been one eventful weekend, that’s for sure. He’s relationship with Matt had been tested and the final results were ugly, their friendship was done.

He now had an empty dorm room with nobody to share with. It probably was a good thing deep down with the pressure of exams starting to take control of students lives.

For the next couple of weeks, campus was fairly quiet. No parties, less socialising, more studying.

Mark found it hard to do so with so much on his mind but he tried to remain focused.

Worst of all, his birthday was coming up, falling on the day before exams started. It meant that he couldn’t have a proper party and everyone else would barely care for it considering they had their own exams to prepare for the day after.

Two days before his birthday, Mark sat alone in the library, trying to stop himself from procrastinating to get some serious work done.

He had just gotten into a solid rhythm before he was interrupted by someone.
