Tom

Early morning, Tom left for the Jardin Majorelle, to see the stunning indigo blue art deco house that marks its centrepiece. The incredible variety of cacti was exactly what Tom wanted to see! From there, it was an instant walk to the Yves Saint Laurent fashion museum, so that was Tom's next stop. As the midday started heating up a bit too much for Tom's taste, he decided to escape the sun in the Bahia Palace. The place was incredible, really. It was a shame Leticia didn't care much for art, but at least he was enjoying himself very much, while she likely was having her fun buying local goods. He ended his day having tea in the Mellah, a quarter of the city that used to be the Jewish quarter.

It was, he thought, very good fun. He expected to bring Leticia out during the week.

Regrettably, she was adamant. She loved visiting the local markets, called the Souks, but if he came along his demeanour would drive the prices up, she insisted. And so it was that they barely saw each other during their holiday week, much to his dismay. At least, he reflected, she was having as much fun as him, since when they both came back to their room, she barely showered before she hit the bedsheets and fell asleep!
