Walk fast!

I decid to just walk as fast as possible back to my room. I don’t need to sneak! I live here and I haven’t done anything wrong! I step out from my hiding place and start walking. I hadn’t even made it halfway there before I hear Alice call out to me.

“Hey Jason, looking good!” She calls over teasingly.

“Jason, what are you doing?” My sister asks. “where are your clothes?”

“Wha... You said you wanted to wash them. Alice took them.” I can feel my face flushing with embarrassment again.

“No I didn’t, I said...” She smacks her forehead and turns to Alice. “I told you to ask if he wanted them washed, not to steal his clothes!”

“I must have misheard,” Alice giggles, not looking away from my almost naked body. "Besides, by the looks of things I’d say he’s pretty happy right now” She nods towards me.
