Apologise to Kurt for losing your nerve.

You walk in silence to a nearby University diner. It’s not one you’ve been to before and seems relatively normal except that all the six or seven waitresses appear to be cute, blond and exactly identical clones of each other.

You both take a seat at a window table. Kurt orders an omelette and coffee and you go for a bowel of fries and diet coke.

“Listen Kurt. I’m sorry dude. I fucked up. When I heard her coming towards the door I lost my nerve”

He’s obviously pissed off but does a good job of hiding it.

“It happens. Fuck it, it’s high stakes you’re involved in. I mean girl this is why I suggested you sitting it out.”

“I know. I’m sorry. I thought I could go through with it but the pressure. Fuck. Maybe it’s for the best. I don’t know if I actually want to kill Mandy. Despite all the horrible things she’s done”

He stares at you with a hard look.

“Hmm” is all he ‘says’. You can tell what he is thinking though “Would have been good to have known that two days ago…”. But he has the good grace not to say it. At that moment you vow that when this is all over and it is safe, you’re going to let him fuck your brains out.

What he does say is “Listen, Mandy is going to be gunning for you now. Maybe both of us. My suggestion is try and call a truce. Cool things down a bit”
