Makoto looks at them, most of them seem very easy to fulfill, “Make her smile? Hear her insult someone? Will Monokuma really slow down the killing game just based on these?”

Makoto decides that he wants to wait on doing these actions, since he is on the fence on the Trigger Game, as it is made by Monokuma! The thing that trapped them there and talks about them possibly killing each other! What if this is a trick set by Monokuma?

Makoto walks out of his room into the dining hall.

“Good morning Makoto!” Taka shouted.

“Good morning Taka” Makoto replied.

Makoto then walks over to the dining table when he sees everyone around it.

“Hey Makoto” said Sayaka.

“Hey Sayaka,” responded Makoto. “What are you guys talking about?”

“We are talking about what we are going to do now” Sayaka replied.

“Well what are the ideas?” said Makoto. The room is silent.

“How about just beating up the damn thing!” suddenly yells Mondo.

“D-did you forget w-what happened l-last time d-dumbass!” Toko responded.

But then, “Action Successful.” Toko said in a monotone voice. “Passive Trigger Unlocked : Thoughtful Writing. Clean Up Time: One Minute”

Everyone froze, except Makoto. Makoto looks around and sees no one is moving, not even blinking. “Hey guys,” Makoto said. “Guys”. Makoto got no response. Makoto then taps Sayaka whose right next to him, who also did not move.

“This must be what Monokuma was talking about,” Makoto said, thinking out loud. “Wait, didn’t Monokuma say something about my handbook?”

Makoto then opens up his hand book and sees that the chart has changed and a timer.

Makoto sees that Toko has leveled up, and the action status has changed. Makoto clicks on Toko’s profile and sees a trigger has been unlocked.

Toko Fukawa's Triggers:

• Thoughtful Writing (Passive) : Whenever she writes a story, the protagonist will be based on you.

"Huh" says Makoto, "So this is what she'll do when she writes? Can Monokuma even make her do that?". Makoto then looks at the timer again, this time it was 10 seconds. Makoto puts the handbook down and looks at everyone still not moving.

"I'll have to see her writing later to find out." But just then, people started to move again.

“How about just beating up the damn thing!” yelled Mondo.

“D-did you forget w-what happened l-last time d-dumbass!” Toko responded.

"So they go back before the action was taken" Makoto observes.

The silence abruptly came as no one knew what to actually do.

"Wha-what if... what if we are are stuck?" said Sayaka.

Everyone then started to frown and loose hope.

But then Makoto got out and said, "Wait! We haven't even been here for that long! I'm sure we can find something! We can't give up guys!"

After that, everyone started to look up and smile in hope that he is right.

Then, “Action Successful.” Sayaka said in a monotone voice.

"Wait!" Makoto shouts, trying to prevent Sayaka from completing her trigger. However, Makoto hears her continue, “Action Trigger Unlocked : Talkative Idol. Clean Up Time: One Minute”.

Makoto closes his eye, not wanting to see what he had just done. But as clean-up time nears, Makoto opens up his hand book again.
