Growing up.
Turning 18
On your birthday there was no cake, no balloons or even a home to have the party in, you returned to the orphanage on to find your items in a single black bin bag on the steps.
The door was locked and you had officially been kicked out of the orphanage.
You scrounge through your bag of clothes to find most are crumpled and some even stained purposely mind you, there is also the fact that your birth certificate that you have never seen but want to is in that place.
That bitch of a Matron is keeping your rightful birth certificate away from you, that infuriates you even more.
Luckily there is a bright side even if small, you placed your extra money in a hole covered up by a loose brick on the side a the orphanage, life fucks you over, you look out for yourself.
You pack your things and grab your money and make the trip to train station and whilst there you pick up a discarded newspaper from a bin.
You read for any information on the world and find that recently there are lots of low income but very accessible jobs over in Los Angeles
You currently live or lived in a shitty rundown orphanage in Arizona, Phoenix. One good train journey and you may find a great place to start you living.
You have though this over many times, Phoenix is a great city with nice features but it has done nothing for you as a person, no proper friends, no family or care for you. So you think it’s better to move on, with your average GPA of 2.0 and a low grade of a C- you barely passed high school which is government paid to help orphans.
You can get a low end job and start from there, so you got to the nearby train station and buy a one way ticket from Phoenix, Arizona to Los Angeles, California. You wait at the station and start to ponder on life.
You have a feeling that life is just not being fair to you at all and that life seems to have a grudge against you, why you don’t know but you know that there will be future tribulations. You will just have to hope it’s not to bad.
As your train is thought comes to a end, the actual train pulls into the station and you climb onto the train and take a seat on the carriage, and you slowly fall asleep to the slight rocking of the train as it starts it’s trip to Los Angeles.
The Next Step.
Making Your Own Luck.
Luck always has a part.
People say that money makes the world go round, there is some truth to that statement. Some work hard to get their money and survive, others are born into that position of power and money while the lucky one here and there win big and gain favour. Not you, you are not in any position or have any power and one one day you go through another bad day only for it to change your life forever.
