Summer’s first dinner with the Rosses and the evening
The evening’s events
After the movie, which Summer and Angel stared at in confused awe, Dad glanced at my new dog.
“Have you measured her for a collar?” he asked.
“No, not yet.” I shrugged. He nodded.
“Alright. Well, I bought you a leash when I was out, as I didn’t know what kind of companion you’d be back with.” Dad told me.
“Summer not need leash, Angel-master. Summer good girl.” Summer spoke up, looking to me for approval. I nodded.
“Yeah, you are.” I told her with a small smile.
“Also, you can just call me Tom.” Dad spoke up.
“Ok, Angel-master.” Summer said, then corrected herself, “Tom.”
“Angel, you handling dinner tonight?” Dad asked his dog.
“Yes, Master. Angel can handle it.” she promised. I nodded.
“Summer, do you want to help Angel?” I asked my own dog.
“Yes, Summer help Master’s big sister.” Summer said with a smile. The two dogs bounded into the kitchen. I grabbed the cloth tape measurer, and followed them in.
“Summer, come here.” I said. She did so quickly, and practically bumped into me she was so excited. I ruffled her hair.
“I’m going to measure your neck. Ok?” I asked. She nodded, clearly a bit confused. I wrapped it around her neck, and as I was checking the number, Summer gave a small wriggle and bumped against me.
“Summer no like new scarf.” she said sourly.
“What? Summer, it’s not a scarf.” I said, pulling it away from her neck.
“It to help Joel find good size collar.” Angel spoke up, touching her own collar. Hers was bright pink with a golden coin saying ‘Angel’ on it, along with a design of a halo over the name.
“Oh! Summer sorry. Master get good size?” Summer asked. I laughed.
“Yeah, I got it. I’m going to run and grab it now.” I said. Summer cocked her head.
“Leave Summer?” she asked sadly.
“Well, yeah, but only for a short time. Besides, I thought you were helping Angel with dinner.” I reminded my dog. She grabbed my hands.
“Summer wanna go with Master.” she pleaded.
“Alright, come on.” I said with a wry smile, and Summer squealed with delight. Angel looked a bit disappointed.
“What’s wrong?” I asked her.
“Angel want Summer to help cook.” she said sadly.
“Summer help Angel tomorrow.” Summer promised. Angel perked up at that news.
“See you, Angie.” I said. My dad’s Companion waved, and I headed out to my car, Summer on my heels. She stepped on her foot and I turned, to see she was eager to stay close to me.
“Really, Sum?” I lifted an eyebrow.
“Sorry, Master. Summer want stay close. Protect.” she said loyally.
“I appreciate it. But we’re in my front yard. There’s not really much danger here.” I said dryly. Summer looked around, nose sniffing rapidly.
“Master right. Safe here.” she concluded. I chuckled to myself as I walked around the car. Summer followed me, and I sighed in my head.
“Summer, you get in on the other side of the car.” I said patiently. She gasped and ran around to the other side, and hurriedly climbed in.
“Summer sorry.” she said to me as I put on my seatbelt. Summer mimicked me, and I tried not to notice how the seatbelt nestled between her tits, and pulled the shirt tightly against them, pronouncing just how busty my new dog was.
“No reason to be sorry.” I said, touching her hand lightly. Summer stared at my hand touching hers, then she grabbed my hand, lacing her small fingers through mine.
“Summer like.” she whispered, eyes wide.
“I like it too, Summer. But I have to drive, and that takes two hands. We can hold hands later.” I promised her. She dropped my hand, but still looked excited, tail wagging.
“Summer hold Master’s hand later.” she said proudly to herself. I shook my head in amusement and started the car.
———
I pulled up in front of the nearest CompanionMart, which stocked exclusively Companion things, like beds, clothes, and collars. That sort of stuff. Summer’s nose was sniffing wildly as we got out of the car. She was glued to my side, sniffing the whole time we walked.
“Joey!” a voice called. I turned to see one of my best friends, Caitlyn, hurrying towards me. She was a petite, pretty redhead, with bright green eyes that shone with delight as she looked at Summer, who cowered behind my leg. That wasn’t Caitlyn’s fault, but Brutus’s. Brutus was a male Great Dane, who was practically the same height as his mistress, as Caitlyn was short and Brutus tall. Brutus was grey-furred, lanky and muscular, and looked pretty angry 24/7.
That was intentional, as Caitlyn’s mom had been **** a few years ago, and ensured that Caitlyn and her older sister both got big-ass Companions to defend them.
“Caitlyn, this is Summer, my new Companion.” I introduced.
“Hi! I’m Caitlyn, Joel’s best friend. Who’s a girl, anyway. I know I can’t beat TJ.” Caitlyn introduced herself.
“Haven’t seen TJ since he got Roxy.” I said dryly. Caitlyn laughed.
“Oh, Summer, you don’t have to be afraid of Brutus. He’s actually very sweet, I just make him look really angry so it threatens bad people. But you’re not bad.” Caitlyn promised. Summer poked her head out from behind me.
“Brutus sweet?” she asked in disbelief. Caitlyn glanced around.
“You can drop the angry act.” she told Brutus. Brutus seemed to come alive with energy.
“Hi Summer! Brutus friend, not threat.” he promised.
“Friend?” Summer said with building enthusiasm. She came out fully from behind me, and Caitlyn made a sound of disbelief.
“You picked a porno dog?” she demanded.
“What? No!” I protested.
“Por...no?” Summer squinted in confusion.
“Have you banged her?” Caitlyn asked curiously.
“No! I’m not TJ.” I said defiantly. Caitlyn sized me up, huffing lightly. She turned to Brutus.
“Do you smell sex?”
“Brutus no smell sex on Summer or Joel. Brutus smell sex from over there.” he pointed to an alley.
“Ew. Alright, come on, then.” Caitlyn beckoned me. I offered her my arm. She laughed but took it. Summer took her usual place glued to my side, but it was the other side than usual as Caitlyn occupied that space. Brutus followed a respectful distance behind Caitlyn, but he was close enough to close it in a single bound.
Caitlyn was there buying food, so I decided to grab some for Summer, too. Brutus carried both bags without any show of effort. He was truly a muscular beast. Then, I took Summer over to the collar fitter.
“Hey. I need a collar for my new Companion.” I said. A hand touched my side and I turned to see Caitlyn leaning on the counter.
“Hey, Frank. Remember that favor I did for Spot? Give my friend here a discount.” Caitlyn said.
“Fine.” the employee, Frank, said. He handed me a tape measure, but I waved him off. I told him the number I’d measured Summer for before we left, and he went in the back to find the right sized collar. He came back with a violet one.
“You like the color?” I asked Summer. She nodded eagerly, tail wagging, hitting my thigh.
“What’s her name?” Frank grunted.
“Summer!” she squealed excitedly. I laughed.
“She is a pretty good fit for you.” Caitlyn told me.
“Yeah. I’m not a perv.” I told my friend. She winked.
“But it didn’t hurt her cause, did it?” Caitlyn said knowingly.
“No, it didn’t.” I admitted gruffly. She laughed, bumping her shoulder against me. Summer glanced over at us, but then quickly back to Frank, who was coming forwards with the new collar. Brutus growled warningly. I glanced over my shoulder to see him subtly pointing at Frank. Caitlyn waved him off, and Brutus quit instantly.
“A hard-on? Really, Frank?” she chided after Frank handed me the collar and I turned to Summer while he spluttered. She grabbed her long mane of yellow hair and held it up away from her neck, and I snapped the collar around her neck. It had a small silver bone on it saying ‘Summer’ in black font.
“Summer love it.” she told me with an adorable smile, dropping her hair.
———
We said goodbyes to Caitlyn and Brutus, and then hopped in the car to drive home. Summer’s food bag was in the trunk, and she buzzed excitedly, her hand never far from her new collar.
When I stopped the car, Summer seemed happy to return to the house. When we entered, she rushed to the kitchen. I heard her say ‘Angel, look what Master get Summer!’ before I walked past to sit on the couch. Dad wasn’t there, so I grabbed the remote, and flicked through some channels before settling on a game show.
“How long til dinner?” Dad’s voice came from upstairs.
“Seven minutes, Master!” Angel called back from the kitchen.
Seven minutes later, Summer came out of the kitchen holding a plate of food delicately. I took it and thanked her. She beamed.
Angel came out of the kitchen, and took Dad a plate upstairs. Summer sat at my feet like usual.
“Sum, do you want to sit on the couch?” I asked her. She glanced at the couch, nose sniffing.
“Like it here.” she said, and turned back to the TV. Angel returned downstairs, and sat down on the couch beside me. She cuddled up against me and I glanced down at her sad-looking face.
“What’s wrong?” I whispered, though I knew Summer could hear me just fine.
“Master said no walk tonight. Again.” she sighed.
“I’ll walk you.” I promised her. She smiled affectionately at me.
“Thank you, Joel.” she said.
I dug into the food, and raised my eyebrows.
“Great food, girls.” I praised the Companions. They both beamed, and Angel rubbed my arm.
“Angel glad you like it.” she said softly.
After I finished, I set the plate on the side table and stood, turning off the TV.
“Walk?” I asked. They both nodded with big smiles. Angel, who was slightly taller than Summer, slipped under my arm familiarly, but Summer looked surprisingly jealous.
I held up the leash Dad had bought.
“Alright, look, Sum. I won’t put this on you, but if you go too far, I will. So stay close, OK?” I told her. Summer nodded.
“Summer stay close to Master. Summer good girl.” she promised. I nodded back.
“I know you are.” I said.
We walked out onto the sidewalk and saw it was lovely. The sky was still fairly light, but it was streaked with pink and orange and red. Sunset. Angel’s hand slipped into mine while Summer led the way, sniffing eagerly. I let her, as this was all new territory for her.
“You seem sad.” I told Angel.
“Master no play with Angel. Angel sleep on floor now. Angel no like sad Master.” Angel sighed. Sad? Why was Dad... oh. The anniversary of Mom’s **** was in a week, and I realized how hard it must be for him. It was hard for me, too, but I hadn’t been married to her. He loved her with all his heart and her **** broke him for quite a while.
He’s back together now, but fragile, I feel like.
“Angel... you can come share my bed. If you don’t mind sharing with Summer, too, I guess.” I told her. She smiled shyly.
“Joel sure?” she asked, hopeful.
“I’m sure.” I promised her. She beamed. Summer rushed up to us.
“Master! Found Caitlyn and Brutus.” she beamed, tail wagging fiercely.
“Oh, yeah. They live in the neighborhood. Good job.” I praised her. She rushed back ahead to investigate the surroundings, while I watched with a small smile. Angel was watching me, and I glanced at her.
“Summer make Joel happy.” she said. Not a question, but an observation.
“Yeah. She does.” I said. Angel leaned her head against my arm.
“Angel glad Joel happy. Even if not with her.” she murmured. Memories flashed in my head, quick, unwanted flashes. Memories of Angel’s beautiful tits bouncing as she rode me. Her panting hard as I pounded her doggy-style. Her soft cries of delight as I sprayed her insides with my cum. Summer had stopped and was staring at me curiously. Angel was blushing madly, and I remembered abruptly that the dogs could smell the scent of arousal we humans produce.
Like a hard-on.
“Angie make Joel...?” Summer trailed off, unsure.
“No.” Angel spoke up before I could even try to untangle what was happening.
“No?” Summer repeated.
“No.” Angie said firmly.
