B Day 5 - Yes

"Yes," you admit.

"But you like it," Aki says... she is not judging.

"Yes."

"Why?"

"What do you mean, why? I like... girls. And getting off," you whisper. "Who doesn't like that? It's exciting..."

"You can look at girls on your phone. Or all around you..." She gestures at the Lodge. "And to get off is within your control." She looks at your hand.

You groan. "Yeah, but it's better this way. It's more."

"More what?"

"More exciting," you say. "It feels better."

"You have a lot of sexual energy," Aki says, looking sympathetic.

"Is that your way of saying I'm a horny slut? Because I can't really deny that," you say honestly.

"Those are your words," she says.

"Doesn't matter now," you say. "Riona and Adella are on their own team. We can't really mix. I might see them at the Lodge, but I don't think so. I don't think I'm that interesting to them."

"That might be true." Aki looks sympathetic.

You were kind of hoping she would say that of course Riona and Adella like you... so that hurts.

"This kind of sucks. I know it's bad, and I like soccer... but I was really excited each day to, you know. See what they had going on," you confess to Aki.

"Understandable," she says, nodding.

You laugh. "I'm actually really down about it..."

"You are depressed because there is no one to bully you in front of other people?" she asks. You aren't sure if she wanted that to sound ridiculous... but it definitely sounds kind of pathetic when it's said that way.

"I guess I need to grow up, huh?" you say.

"You must focus. You have to lead the team," Aki replies.

"You're right. It's just sad not to have that to look forward to."

"I will bully you," Aki says with a straight face. You can't tell if she's kidding.

"What?"

"If you maintain your focus and we are successful. I will take the place of your friends if necessary and bully you in the presence of our team," she says, looking at you very seriously. "If that is the motivation you require to be the captain that you need to be."

"Um..." you say, then clear your throat. "That's very generous." Is she serious? Aki's so quiet... she's no Adella. You kind of wonder what she thinks bullying would be...

"I want to win. I will help you to help myself," Aki says.

You grin. "You think you have what it takes to bully all this?" You point at yourself.

"I do," she says gravely.

You try not to laugh... this is great.

"OK. Deal," you say.

"There is one thing," she adds.

"What?"

"You must control your energies. Keep them inside. Until we win." She looks at your lap.

"That would be hard for me," you say. "It's like you say... I have a lot of that energy. You know?"

"Do you control it? Or does it control you?" she asks.

"What are you, Yoda?"

"What is that?" Aki asks, puzzled.

"What... what do you, not know who Yoda is? From Star Wars?"

"From what?"

"Wait, you don't know Star Wars at all?"

"What is that?" she asks, lost.

"Um, it's a thing. It's a big thing. It's the biggest thing. Everybody knows Star Wars. Even in Japan, I'm sure," you say.

"No."

"I'm pretty sure I'm right about this. There's movies. They're really good. I mean, the new ones are, but the... you know, never mind. Let's do it. Do we have a deal?"

"We do."

You shake hands on it.

"What about Baby Yoda? You know about him at least, right?" you ask.

"You should rest," she says.
