Is Gina still waiting?
shiiiiiiit we finna see
I finally made it to the college where my girlfriend was going to and soon where I would also be going here like we had planned a little over a year ago. Making my way to the parking lot I pay for three days and make my way to the building that she was currently staying at. In about a week she would be going back home but I needed to see her.
"Yeah just make a turn at the cafe and just walk straight and you should see the UNA freshman dorms," The girl said while being really close to me for some reason. I had asked her for direction but she seemed to be really friendly... to the point I was put off by how close she was getting.
"T-Thanks, I'm gonna go now," I said while walking away from the girl with a big grin while waving me away. That was a bit weird but hey I was gonna see Gina soon. Nothing was gonna get me down though since I would soon be with my girlfriend.
Going into the building I made my way to the front desk asking the person behind it where I could find room 412. She looked to have a sad look on her face while telling me that it was on floor 4 on the right and that I couldn't miss it.
Not minding the little red flag that I just saw I walk up to the elevator and get ready to see Gina. In hand I had white roses and chocolate that I picked up along the way, they had seen better days but hey I tried. Making it to the door I knock on it and wait for a minute and there is no answer so I try again. This time I can hear some noises coming from the room through the door but it still doesn't open.
"Gina it is Cade!" I said while knocking on the door again this time there is a thud as something falls and then someone comes to the door.
"Cade!?" her voice came through the door. I could recognize that voice from anywhere, it was Gina the love of my life.
"Gina!" I said excitedly. "Babe, I know that we haven't talked for a minute and that long-distance relationships can be hard but I'm here now," I said while pouring my heart out. I knew that I was losing her lately and that if I didn't do this that I might not be able to be with her. Now was to let her know that I will be here and that I'm ready to rekindle the love that we had in high school.
"Weren't you suppose to come here later?" she said. "Huh?" I thought in my head but I decided to just keep pushing even though it hurt to hear her say that with no emotion. "I-I wanted to see you earlier so that we have even more time before you come back," I said saying everything on my mind. Even to this day, I love her with all of my heart and want us to work out.
"I need some time to get ready," Was the quick response. It sounded like she was trying to keep her voice down while talking to me.
"I don't care about how you look like right now, I just want to see you so bad right now," Cade said.
"Go down to the lobby... I'll, ngh see you down there just give... like thirty minutes and I'll come...come...coming!" She said.
"Gina?" I said worried about why she yelled like that. There was no answer and I just decided to leave her alone since she was so adamant that I should go to the lobby and wait for her.
Soon I was down in the lobby and waiting on one of the gaming chairs there, part of the lobby was decked out so that the students could play local games together. Picking up the controller I started playing Minecraft and remembering how I would play together with Gina before we got together.
"Cade," Gina said while walking to me after getting out of the elevator, I got up and went to give my girlfriend a hug and a kiss. Though it was a little weird though since she sort of just stood there like a dead fish with my lips on hers.
"What is wrong Gina?" I said while placing my hands on her shoulder as he face twisted in a weird way that I have never seen before. She seemed to be conflicted about something but then resolved herself. "Cade I have a boyfriend now," Gina said.
"Duh, I know. I am your boyfriend silly," I said while hugging her.
"No cade I have a boyfriend that isn't you," Gina said, this time pushing me off of her. I frowned, deep down in my heart I knew that I lost my girlfriend three months ago, but hearing it still hurt like hell.
"Why?" I said while just standing still as if a piece of wind could blow him over. "You said that we would be together at college," I said while holding back tears but my vision was starting to get blurry.
There was also a crowd forming around us since I accidentally raised a bit while **** up. "Because the long-distance relationship wasn't working. I was going through a lot at the time and needed someone to be there, and Bobby just happened to be there." Gina said in a cold voice.
I remembered that time, it was when Gina's mother was going through a battle with cancer and would cry on the phone with me every night. Though suddenly she got better and told me that everything was fine. I thought it was because Gina knew deep down that her mother was going to beat cancer, but now...
"Why didn't you tell me?" I said with so much sorrow in my voice. This whole thing was really getting to me.
"I-I didn't want to hurt your feelings and get in the way of your studying," She said. This was the reason that I couldn't really visit her, it was because I was trying to become a valedictorian and that took up all of my time. At the beginning of my school year, it wasn't important until I hit senior year and saw that if I tried I could get it.
So while I was trying to improve myself academically, my girlfriend was busy crying on another man's shoulder. That leading to the mess that I'm hearing right now. I told her that if she wanted I would go over there and visit but she said no. She said no in such a convincing manner that I thought everything was okay.
"You didn't want to hurt me?" I said while looking at the ground. "Gina if you had told me straight up I wouldn't have thought that we were still a thing, if you had told me I would have been more understanding. If you HAD FUCKING TOLD ME I WOULDN'T BE HERE LOOKING LIKE A FUCKING IDIOT HOLDING YOUR FAVORITE FLOWER AND CHOCOLATE. FUUUUUUCK!!!" I yelled out while throwing them onto the floor while taking deep breathes because I could feel like I was going to lose it. "I-I need to go," I said while turning away and exiting the building.
There were quite a few people there to see my little outburst but I didn't care, I needed that. I now was walking around without any direction at all.
