Brie Larson gets taken down a peg - Part 11

Officer Martínez leads Brie back to her cell. As soon as Donna and Loretta see them appear, they start chuckling.

-You better control yourself from now on, Miss Larson. This is a police station, not a kindergarten -says the cop, purposely ridiculing the arrogant celebrity in front of the two hookers, who laugh out loud when they hear it.

After Martínez leaves, Brie walks slowly towards the bench. When she is about to sit down, she hears Loretta’s voice:

-Hey, Captain Poopy-pants, you can’t sit on our bench. It's only for grown-ups that have finished their potty training. You sit on the floor.

Brie looks at them and sees that they are dead serious. After all that she has been through tonight, she doesn’t have the energy to confront the two prostitutes. Defeated and fighting the tears that accumulate in her eyes, she sits on the floor. She looks away from the hookers and sees that the two men in the cell opposite to theirs are looking at her and laughing.

Brie sits there in silence, feeling utterly degraded. She tells herself that Karen will soon be here to put an end to this nightmare. She just has to stay quiet and wait for her agent.

-She looks less pretty in person, don’t you think? -says Loretta, who is enjoying the experience of bullying a celebrity.

-Totally. Without the fancy clothes and the make-up, she is quite ugly. If she worked in our field, no man would pay to sleep with her!

-Hahaha… true! It’s a good thing that she already has a job as an actress... if she was a hooker, she would starve!

-Not that she’s very good at acting either. Did you watch Captain Marvel? I was bored to ****.

-Oh yeah, tell me about it. Even my little Leroy got bored watching it. And you know how much he loves superhero flicks…

-I can’t blame him. It was the worst Marvel movie so far… Did you see what they did to Nick Fury?

-Oh my god, yes! I was so mad! -after saying this, Loretta addresses Brie:- Hey, Captain Poopy-pants, what you did to Nick Fury was not okay, do you hear me?
