The pastor's wife

You sit through a pretty good service and when it ends with people congregating outside the doors, you look for the Barkers. You manage to find Patty as she sends her husband and the kids to the car. Andrew claps your shoulder and leads them away.

"I didn't expect to see you so soon, John," Patty says with a smile.

"Me neither," you reply honestly. "I just thought I would come here to meet some new people. Hey, think you could introduce me to the pastor?"

"Of course." She grabs your hand and leads you to them. "Jack, this is John. He's new to town. John this is Jack Cooper and Bethany Cooper. Jack is the best pastor this town has ever seen."

Jack laughs, "Patty you're a real sweetheart. This whole town has been too kind to me." You make a little bit of small talk before Andrew pulls up in front of the church and honks.

Patty waves to him to show that she heard him. "Well, I have to go. Unless you want me to stay?" she asks you.
