You throw caution to the wind and email the professor that you'll be there at 11. It's time to spring the trap and see what comes of it. Well, that's interesting, a trap seems a lot less likely with his significant other tagging along. That could be good or bad honestly. After all, the whole idea of the meeting is something of a favor to you, and making him wait too long for an answer could put him in a bad mood which could make him drive a harder bargain.
