Beginning of Naruto

In the end, home is where the heart is. I grew up watching the original Naruto series so it is the one I remember the most about. I'll be able to make plans early and who knows, if I want to I could make it so Naruto doesn't have to lift a finger to save the world.

Focusing my power I feel the world around me begin to disappear. After a while, light hits my eyes as I slowly open them. Looking around, I see that I am standing on a dirt road. All around me are trees with the exception of the two directions the road extends. In one direction I cannot see anything as the road goes for a long while. In the other direction on the other hand, I can see a scene I never thought I would ever get to see in my life. The gate of Konoha.

Seeing it with my own two eyes, I can see how big it really is. Seeing it on a television screen doesn't do it justice. In the distance I can see the Hokage monument with the heads of the first 4 Hokage. I take a deep breath to calm myself at the excitement welling up inside me at the thought that I'm really in the world of Naruto.

Looking down, I see that I'm still in my modern clothing from my world. I don't want to seem to inconspicuous even though I can just make this clothing normal in the eyes of others I want to fit in. To get a real feel for living in this world. I clap my hands and a light comes over me. When the light fades my modern clothing is gone and in it's place is a red silk kimono with golden trimming. along the bottom there is a depiction of a golden dragon. underneath the kimono is a black shirt and loose black pants. Lastly are the shinobi sandals that I've seen everyone from the series wear in black.

Now the last thing I need to change is my name. Michael Hazelton is not exactly a name you would find in this world so I need something to help me fit in. I have trouble deciding for a while but when I look down and see the dragon on my kimono my decision is very quickly made. Ryu, that is the name I will go by in this world. I focus my power and slowly my hair changes from it's original color to a deep red. Uzumaki Ryu, that is the name I will go by in this world.

I want to go into Konoha but there is something very important I have to take care of before going in so as not to draw unnecessary suspicion. Spreading my senses, I find a clearing in the forest nearby that is perfect for what I need to do.

I head to the clearing and check one last time to make sure there is no one nearby. Once I am sure I am alone, I use my power to block of the clearing so no one can sense what is going on inside before moving my focus to the task at hand. Giving myself chakra.

I begin to focus my power inwards and before long I feel a pain spreading through me. Ignoring it, I continue to create the pathways necessary for chakra. After a while, I finish and I feel a new energy begin flowing through me. I now have chakra so now I only need to learn how to use it.

I change the flow of time within the clearing before sitting down and closing my mind. I move my consciousness outwards and begin to absorb the history of the world. Information begins flowing into my mind. There are many things that I already knew thanks to the series but there is so much that I never knew. So much knowledge on historical figures and events, on chakra and Ninjutsu as well as it's older form know as Ninshu. Powers and abilities I've never heard of before and a much deeper level of knowledge on the ones I already knew about as well.

After an undetermined amount of time, I open my eyes. With all the information I just received. Blending into this world will not be a problem. I push my chakra and in front of me materializes a mirror of Ice like the one used by Haku. Looking at myself in the mirror, I admire my appearance before focusing on my eyes.

I blink and they change to Sharingan, the world appears to move at a slower rate when I am using these eyes and I can pick out every detail in everything I look at. Focusing chakra to my eyes my Sharingan begin spinning before changing appearance and becoming the Mangekyou Sharingan. My Mangekyou appears as a 8 point shuriken with alternating lengths. 4 long points and 4 short points. I know I have all the Mangekyou abilities so I don't bother testing them at this time.

I blink once more and they change to the Byakugan. Activating them, veins bulge out around my eyes and my field of view suddenly opens up greatly. I can see everything around me without even having to move. I lift my arm up and look at it to see my chakra pathway in my arm. The feeling is surreal and even though I now know everything about the Byakugan, it will take a while before I can get used to using it.

I blink one more time and now there sit the Rinnegan, the legendary eyes of the sage. A lot of it's abilities are inconvenient to test alone but there is one I really want to test. My shadow separates from me before rising from the ground and becoming a copy of me, Rinnegan included. Once the Shadow solidifies completely and opens It's eyes my vision suddenly splits into two. I can see my own view as well as my... Shadow Clone? That name is already taken. Since I only have one shadow lets call him Kage Ryu or Kage for short. Anyways I can also see Kage's view alongside my own.

This will be useful for many things but for now I blink my eyes to a purple color like Kushina's. The story I'll be going with is that I'm her brother and I came to Konoha to see her. With my power I can easily change my DNA to match. I have Kage return to being my shadow before removing my power from the clearing, having it return to normal.

Finished with my preparations, I return to the road where I was before. I begin moving towards Konoha and before long I am at the front gate. Sitting on duty at the gate are two people I know very well, Kotetsu and Izumo. Noticing me, Kotetsu speaks up.
