I awoke at around two in the morning.

No particular reason, but I guess I wanted some water, or probably checking if Ben was doing ok. And so I quietly made my way to the living room. It didn't took long for me to notice the strange noises.

“kewkewkew...kew...kew...”

It was a very tiny, barely audible sound. And I couldn't really make out what it was.

“Ben?”

After hearing my voice the sound became more louder and more frantic.

What the hell was going on?

I turned the light back on and illuminated the huddled miserably figure of Ben. Was he...sobbing?

“Ben, you can talk. What's going on?”

Immediately the cries turned to sobs, confirming my worries. But it was the following words that made my hearts grow ice cold. “C-come.....please....let me...”

I trembled. We got to bed at around 11 P.M. I set the remote for one hour back then, which I was sure was the absolute limit Ben could handle.

It was 2 A.M.

Does that mean he was in this agony for three hours?

I quickly put the remote to maximum. Ben let out a tremendous shriek while I opened the cage and pulled Ben out of it.

It goes without saying that this woke the other girls, who groggely walked in the living room.

“Rina? What...is going on...?”, asked Angelica half asleep.

“Your stupid piece of shit suit malfunctioned!” I screamed at her while stripping Ben out of this monstrosity. He was naked under it, but I couldn't give a single fuck about that right now.

Ben was drenched in sweat and barely conscious. “Oh Ben...my poor Ben”, I cried while hugging him tight. “I'm sorry, i'm so sorry.”

I quickly carried him back to my room, slamming the door behind me. There, I gently lied him down on my bed and started patting him down with a blanket. Only now I noticed the stench. That was probably expected. He was also hot to the touch. I opened a window so Ben could cool down. He would need a long nice warm bath, but that could wait until tomorrow. For now Ben...

“Huh”

Looking at the naked figure in front of me for the first time, i noticed something else.
