Talking to pass the time...

As the hours roll by on the way to the hotel, you eventually run out of things to talk about with Craig and Anna... You turn and look over at Mike and see him aimlessly scrolling through his phone... You decide that you're mutual friends, maybe you should try and get to know him better...

"So Mike, how did you meet these two? You ask him...

He puts his phone in his pocket...

"Oh we met at a convention like the one we're going to now a few months back. Anna and Craig did a really sweet cosplay and we got to talking. Turns out I live right down the road from them so we started hanging out. You?"

"Well I met Craig in highschool, I think it was in chorus or something... And of course I met Anna when they started dating" You tell him with a laugh.

"That's cool... Where are you from?" He asks you, shifting in his seat to look at you more comfortably...

You go into a long conversation with him, mostly you answering questions and diverting into long winded segues about your interested. Mike for the most part seems to have pretty similar interests, and you can't deny that he's a pretty cool guy... Every now and then you catch his eyes drifting down from your face to your body, but he's a guy so that's to be expected you figure... The two of you whittle away the remaining hours of the drive, eagerly chatting and sharing things about yourself until you finally arrive at the hotel...
