The others move in

I got up late the next day, I felt a bit light-headed and dehydrated from last nights drinking and activities. I still couldn't believe that it all had happened. I hoped it wasn't going to be weird between me and Gemma, despite our differences I think that we genuinely go on, I don't think that was just my cock talking either. I reached for the glass of water that was on my desk and took a sip, then a large gulp. Had I gone and got that at some point I cant remember. maybe it was Gemma when she had been in my room. Crap she had been in my room, I looked around and nothing seemed out of place but my black boxer shorts from the night before were missing. I finished the glass of water and decided to go freshen myself up with a shower. After chucking my clothes on I could hear some people outside my room and doors opening and closing. I went out to investigate. It was a guy carrying a bunch of bags into the corridor from outside. He was similar looking to me, dark hair and eyes although he had a narrower face. We had roughly the same build as well although I think I was slightly taller.

Me: 'Hey, is it Matt?'

Guy: 'Oh hey, no I'm Josh, you must be Alex

Me: 'Yeah that's me, I didn't realise we had a Josh moving into our flat?'

Josh: 'I'm not moving in, I'm just helping Annie move the rest of her stuff in'

As he said that I Annie herself appeared out from her room door, she looked just as good as I remember.

Annie: 'Hi Alex, I see you met my boyfriend then'

Me: 'So Josh is the lucky boyfriend?' Nice to meet you man'

I extended my hand and Josh shook it.

Josh: 'Nice to meet you too'

Annie: 'alright now you too know each other, you can go fetch the rest of my stuff from the car'

I wasn't sure if that was aimed at Josh or both of us if I'm honest

Me: 'Want a hand?'

Josh: 'Yeah that would be good thanks'

With that, I put some shies on and followed josh out of the flat, we took the stairs on the way down and got chatting a bit. Almost annoyingly we hit it off, we had a lot in common. I found out that he had been with Annie since they were at school and that he wasn't going to uni himself but has started working as a car salesperson in the city so would probably be around a bit. I didn't mind I had already consigned myself to Annie's lack of availability at least her boyfriend was a nice guy to hang out with it seemed. After a few more trips than I would have expected the last thing we had to get in from the car was a massive flat-screen TV. As we were taking it out the car across the court I saw Johnny and the redhead from 508 walking towards their flat with some shopping.

Johnny: 'Hey man, last night was great. Our flats will have to meet up properly once everyone for a party at some point'

Me: 'Yeah that sounds good, just drop me a message'

Johnny: 'cool, see you late V boy'

the redhead giggled at that but didn't say anything as the disappeared into the entrance to their flats.

Josh: 'V boy?'

Me: 'Long story, maybe another day'

We couldn't fit the TV into the lift so we had to take it up the stair, luckily we were only on the 2nd floor so it could have been worse but we were both out of breath by the time we got to the top of the stairs. Where Annie had pretty much finished unpacking.

Annie: 'look at my 2 strong boys, can you put in in the living room. figured it would be too big for my room and the flat doesn't have a TV'

While the idea was generous it also meant me and Josh had to carry it a bit further and through another door. Luckily Annie decided to help with that and held the door as we went through. With a final grunt of effort, we lifted the TV onto the little table on the corner and we both collapsed onto the sofa.

Annie: 'Thanks boys, do you mind if I steal Josh back though I need his help setting some stuff up in my room'

Josh: 'What did your last **** die of?'

Annie: 'Disobedience'

Josh smirked at that, then they disappeared out of the communal area. I liked Josh, he was someone I could get on with, and despite Annie's sometimes girly entitlement vibe she gave off sometimes, I got on pretty well with her too. It certainly helped she was easy on the eyes. They seemed like a nice couple as well, they had a playful charm which I found easy to join in with.

Some time passed and I heard my stomach growl so decided to sort myself out something to eat, Josh and Annie had emerged at some point and said they were heading to the shops and if I need anything, the left and hadn't come back yet. Lucca had emerged once to grab somewhat, but apart from a quick hi he went back into his room. Yeah defiantly shy I thought to myself. I had just finished my food when I met the other Gemma. She was fairly tall for a girl, not taller than me but more so than the other 2. She had long jet black hair and dark eyes. I guessed she was of Latin descent as there was a natural dark bronze to her skin. She was curvy too, boobs probably as big as Annie's but she was nowhere near as skinny as her. She wasn't fat per se but certainly not skinny, thick-set? is that the right phrase? either way, she wasn't really my type. Which if I'm honest was a relief, it was bad enough having to perfect girls running around and controlling myself let alone if there was a 3rd. She was accompanied by a big black guy, I don't mean big as in basketball player big but he was taller than me but big in that he probably wasn't that into basketball. I introduced myself to both of them and asked if they needed any help. They had already brought all of her stuff up, clearly, Gem, as she said to call her, didn't need as many things as Annie did. I found out the guy was also called Grant, I was fairly sure they weren't a couple. Grant came off as pretty camp so suspected his temptation lay elsewhere, especially as I saw him check me out at one point. Adding to that their chemistry seemed purely plutonic.

Gem: 'was nice to me you Alex I'm off to help move Grant into Brecon now'

Brecon was one of the other 4 blocks of flat on campus, I figured Grant must be a first-year student hear as well. With them gone I only had one flatmate left to meet now, I started to wonder what Matt was like when Gemma walked into the kitchen.
