Old-fashioned exercise bicycle? (alternativ storyline, differet author)

As you follow your little ninja lover into the big room. You see her start to move this bicycle that apparently has its back tire removed though mounted to a metal base. I seen some others use it when I was working here though it did seem a tad out of place. However, one change is that when you spin the pedals, the front wheel rotates. Probably to mimic the feel, even though you are stationary. And on top of that, front wheel doesn’t even touch the ground. Enough space to fit half my butt underneath it. The type of wheel also seems to have a bunch of rubbery spikes to it. Feels interesting and rough when it rotates on my hand but a design that I haven’t seen before. However, it did surprise me to see the little girl move this large machine.
