the men bring some down, but hard

Jack shot a kick to Becky’s shin, knocking her leg askew. She snarled in pain, Jack shoving his weight forward as the opportunity presented itself. She staggered back, off balance and crashing into April behind her. Both hit the ground in a tangle as the doctor helped himself up.

“New patient for ya, Doc,” Jack called.
“Should get checked yourself sometime,” the doctor said dryly, his voice roughed by the chain as he glanced at Jack’s injuries.
“If you think this’ enough to slow me down… head in the game, man!”

Becky grabbed for the Doctor, who sidestepped calmly and whipped out a stethoscope. A quick flurry of hands and it had bound her wrists to the cell bars, leaving her facing inward. Doc smirked at his handiwork, though momentarily before Becky realized her situation, shrugged, and mule-kicked him in the stomach. It took the wind out of him, but he still managed to step out of reach of the thrashing Luv.

Jack was hurt, but still managed to show up behind Simone. When a particularly good shot from 40 made her spin around, Jack decked her again and knocked her out. “Damn, man! I HAD that one!”
“You wanna prove something, do it later. We’re at work here.”
