You can use this to your advantage.

You freeze Jolie in time and are about to mentally command her, when suddenly you feel sluggish. You remember the god telling you that you would get tired if you use your abilities without adequate recharge time, and you realize that because you are still getting used to them, it may be a while before you could use them a lot in one day.

Then you remember how to recharge them as well. The god said that you could permanently freeze or hypnotize someone to get your energy back. You didn't want to do that, but you had no choice.
