A Just Reward

You form a large ball of energy in between your paws. "Hah, if you think you little lightning show's gonna stop me, you-" he was cut off before he could finish because Vargus blasted him with Hydro Pump, soaking him from head to toe with water.

Seeing that he's soaked completely, you smile as you launched your Electro Ball attack. Your and the Aggron's difference in speed plus being soaked in water made the damage extremely potent as the Aggron cried out in pain from the impact. The Aggron fell to one knee due to the onslaught you two did. "Nghh... It seems I have misjudged you because you are both so young. But no longer!"

You wince as you then noticed a pair of purple glowing eyes behind the Aggron, "H-hey there's something behind you!" you tried to warn him. "Heh, trying to trick me huh, well it's not gonna work on me! Prepare to-" Before he can finish, a pair of vine whips wrapped around the Aggron's body and dragged him away.

The infected was in the shadows, but the sight of the stem above the purple eyes, you take a gander to be a Venusaur. The Aggron was gritting his teeth, trying to pull himself off of the large plant's vines, but the strain of the battle from you and Vargus took much of his strength as he was **** onto his back, face near the Venusaur. The once aggressive look in the steel type's eyes were replace with fear as he saw the infected open his mouth wide and take in the Aggron's head.

You powering up an electric attack to attack the Venusaur, but then you thought about how cruel he is. Clearly he would've eaten the Grovyle, you two and most likely eaten others, so you simmered your electricity. While you're not happy about letting an non-infected become one of the many victims to the pandemic, this particular victim intended to eat you and the other two. So in sense, he's getting what he deserves, that's what you told yourself as trying to help him would only have him possibly attack you two once more. You quickly gave Felix the Oran Berry helped him up. "Unless you want to be desert, let's go." You told him. He nods as he eats the berry, grabbing his bag and you three headed away from the infected Venusaur as he consumes the Aggron.

You three got some distance away before you all slowed into a walking pace as the Groyvle looks at you. "So you're the blue-eyed Raichu they talked about..."

You turned towards the Grass type. "Not sure we got your name." You respond to him.

"It's Felix."

"Rai." You introduced yourself. "This is Vargus." you pointed to the Croconaw.

"Nice to meet you both." Felix said to you both. "And thanks for your help."

'He didn't even giggle at my name...' You thought to yourself before shrugging it. "No worries. and you were looking for a blue-eyed Raichu from 'their' description. Who's 'they'?" you asked in curiosity and concern.

"This Zoroark and a Buneary with yellow ribbons in her ears. They were traveling with a Pachirisu girl." Felix answered. "I actually attacked them on the road and-" he paused as he can tell that you and Vargus had stopped moving.

"You didn't hurt them did you?" You asked in a suspicious, but wondering tone.

"Calm down, it was an misunderstanding. Kate was the one who stopped me from beating them down." Felix assured, feeling the Raichu stare at him for a bit before relaxing. "From the sad expression she had, I assumed she was kidnapped."

"I supposed It's fair considering she was worried about me." You stated, looking down. "I hope she's okay too."

"They've been staying at the huts yesterday. Saying if you don't get there by sundown, they're heading back to camp." Felix answered, seeing that it's passed midday. "If we want to make it there on time. We should get going."

"We?" Vargus asked, looking over the grass type.

"I want to make things right more with them. I was actually going to go to them until I was attacked by that Aggron. It sounds like you're going somewhere, so I like to see what the world has as well. Plus I can be helpful. I'm stealthy, fast, and can hold my own well most fights."

You thought about it, while he had struggled with the Aggron, the steel/rock type did say he was fast and sneaky. Plus he's offering the help, so you don't have much reason to say no. "Alright, just don't push yourself."

"I'll do my best." Felix said as they headed off towards the huts.
