Out of the Forest

You and your party headed forward and after an hour you can see sunlight and hurried along finding out that the way out of the forest was near! You let out a sigh of relief and so does everyone else as you look back at them and smile. You look forward at the horizon and see that you had arrived at another village. You step forward to take a closer look but your eyes widen greatly after doing so cause the village was in ruins and was heavily scented in musk. Flora stepped over to you and nuzzled "Maybe someone survived this attack." You nod a few times and look back at everyone else "Fan out and look for any survivors!" Your party nod a split up to search the town. No one was having any luck with their search when Jose picked up a faint noise...

He takes a few steps over to it and hears some whimpering under some rubble... The Swampert takes a closer look and uncovers an injured Houndoom "Hey guys! I found someone!" Everyone rushed over and Wes had found a Darmanitan and carried him over. You look over at the Tyranintar and he nods "He's badly beaten but he's fine." He said as he sets the fire type down beside the canine and step back. The Houndoom whimpers a bit as she opens her eyes slowly "T-The eyes... The horrible purple eyes..." You lowered down and stared at her eyes one of them is blue while the other one was pink and she stare into your eyes and after a moment she steadily settles down "S-so much chaos... M-my sweetheart... Gone...." You were silent along with everyone else but it was broken when Woody made a huge burp. The large gecko blushed as he rubs the back of his head "Sorry about that." You look at her and hold out you hand to her "Why don't you come with us to put an end to this madness..." She sighs and shakes her head a few times "I-I'm sorry but I can't..." You nod a few times and lowered your hand "I guess we should be going now." She nods and your party leaves south from the demolished village and spot a fork in the road. The left leads to a marsh while the right leads to a grassland.
