Staring into the eyes

The growling made you stop and back up to Flora as you whisper to her "We're not alone here..." She nods in agreement and start to back up to Wes who put down a large rock after he heard the growl and Bull rushed over to your side and Odie came to cover the rear. You decided to call out to the voice "Show yourself! We are not afraid of you!" The growling got louder as a bizarrely colored Onix slithered out from underground. "Trespassers! You came to invade Goma Village!" You blink a few times as you stayed in position. "What!? There's a village up ahead?" The rocky snake blinks a few times "You don't know about that? Well do you know about the purple eyed pokemon that claimed countless of lives!?" "Of course we do! But we're trying to bring an end to this madness!" The Onix stared deeply into your blue eyes and don't see any malice or hatred in them and he nods "I believe you. I am Quartz the guardian of Goma Village. Please follow me, I will lead you to village safely." You blink a few times "Wait! What about our friends?"

Quartz blinks a few times and looks up and seeing that the bridge had been repaired "Oh dear... If they were the ones who restored that bridge then they might run into some of the purple eyes..." You sigh a bit "Oh we just call them infected." The rock/ground type shrugged as he moved forward "Whatever you may call them if they are strong enough then they'll get through with no problem. Let's not keep waiting." You nod as you lead the others to follow the Onix as Wes whispered "We'll need to be careful. If this guy's guarding a village then chances are that they may see us hostile..." You nod a few times "Got it Wes. For now let's hope that the others will meet up."
