Duh! Why go if it's only going to be a couple minutes?

"You're stuck with me for at least a half hour," you tell Brett. "Any later and I'll bail to catch the next bus. I'm curious enough to hang a bit though."

You offer him a quick smile and sit back in the folding chair. You pop one pod in your right ear, close your eyes and listen to the music on your phone. Killing time is pretty much a talent of yours. After all, there's a lot of downtime getting your hair done and riding the bus. Besides, the check makes you comfortable enough to home if need be. Unlike with the stylist, you want Brett to talk when the interview comes in so the left pod stays in your bag.

About fifteen minutes later, he calls your name to get your attention. You hate cutting out on the guitar solo but business calls. You kill the music on your phone and open your left eye. He's sitting on the edge of the desk fiddling with the tablet.

"Hey man? It's rude to stare at that thing when you called me."

He drops the device into his lap and looks back at you.

"Mr. Petrokov will be calling in about five minutes. If you wanna hit the bathroom, go for it."

You slide your phone into your purse and stretch.

"I've been on Facetimes before. I doubt there's a lot I could do to make myself more presentable. Anything I need to know?"

Brett laughs, "Not really. It'll be short and to the point. Glad you have your own iPhone though. You can sit right there and I'll patch you in. Small suggestion? Just say hi, answer any questions and keep it all short. These things are never exciting."

You shrug and pull out your phone again, then you both wait.

About 5 minutes later his iPad beeps and Brett starts playing with it, then he nods to you and your phone rings. You hit accept after the second ring, no need to look too eager you figure, right? Your screen splits into two frames, one with Brett and the other with an older Asian guy smoking a cigar and wearing a button up white shirt. Brett begins the conversation with a serious tone.

"Ok Mr. P, what do you think?"

He replies, "I assume this is Ms. Simone?"

You nod, "Yes Sir, that's me!"

"I'm impressed. You are pretty, have good balance and a nice voice. We have quite a few things you can do. Any taboos I need to know about?" Mr. P asks.

You shrug, "I'm not exactly sure. I mean pictures seem pretty easy. I guess I wouldn't pose naked with my dad or anything?"

The older man laughs so hard enough that he begins coughing for a second. He recovers quickly though.

"You are precious sweetheart! Branich?"

Brett speaks up, "Yes, Mr. P?"

The older man nods,"Put her to work. She sounds like she isn't quite sure what's on offer so I don't want to go above a three for maybe a four package but work something out. "Got it Mr. P!"

The boss looks straight into the camera.

"Ms. Simone? I think we can all do big things together depending on how open you are to new experiences. I'll leave you in Branich's capable hands."

You nod, "Thank you Sir!"

"And so polite!" the elderly man smiles as he turns the camera off. The call disconnects at that point as Brett slides the device into his briefcase. He looks over as you put the cell back in your bag.

"You realize the term modeling is a nice way of saying porn right?" He says with a chuckle.

You roll your eyes, "I kind of started to suspect that when I found myself climbing down into the basement of a porn shop. It isn't my dream job but I'm no virgin. If the money is good and you don't do something bizarre like bringing a goat in here, I might be game."

Brett starts laughing, "There's a very small market for livestock and no one films that stuff in the states!"

You shake your head, "I don't even want to know if that's real or an inside joke!"

He reaches into his briefcase, pulls out a vape and draws on it.

"It's not important. You're a new, fresh face so we always start slow. The first couple will be pretty vanilla because you want to draw clients in and leave them wanting more. If you do a few videos then we can talk about taboos. The first offer he made was a 'three for a four package'. Pretty much 4k for about thirty to forty-five minutes. Does that sound good?"

You cross your arms over your chest, "The money sounds good but what do I have to do?"

You ponder the offer. That kind of money will fix a lot of problems but having skeezy fuck videos floating on the internet could suck, you think.
